Well. Since this forum seems to be dying out, I'm working some to revive it, and even if in a more so negative fashion...

Abortion is a major topic discussed in today's political systems. And, since this IS in war zone, this is an acceptable topic.

Personally, I am a Christian. I consider my political affiliation to be of an independent party who leans more to the republican end of the spectrum.

But. as many Christians would use the bible as an excuse to be against it, I'm going by the bible to be somewhat for it.
According to the bible, the life is within the blood, correct?
Blood isn't infused within the fetus until some time after conception.
Until that moment, it is okay for an abortion in my personal opinion.
After that moment I consider it murder.

Well, you may have a certain point there, but oftentimes, people aren't aware of their pregnancy until the blood runs through the fetus.

Elaborating on/adding to what I said. Cells are only existent in living creatures, they themselves live. Sperm cells live, and egg cells live, therefore a fetus is always living, completely unjustifying abortion. Life isn't necessarily within blood, as plants live, and they have no such thing running in their veins. That said, I believe abortion is NEVER okay. It's one less sin on a doctors soldiers, and one less issue to deal with if we give up abortion.

You're a very angry person.

Lol. I'm also one who actually believes that it should be allowed up untill the second trimester.
If you enter the second tri-mester of pregnancy, then finally notice it.
YOU'RE GOING THROUGH WITH IT HO'

At least that is my view on it! : D

I, who at the moment has a baby bro, simply think abortion is wrong period.
There are certain reasons I'd overlook it (rape/incest for example), but otherwise it is a lazy attempt at birth control.

I can certainly agree with that
I've yet to know anybody personally (With my knowledge at least), who has gone through an abortion.
But from what my mom has experienced with people she knows
It really screws up your mind.
Of course with some heartless people out there... >_>;;
