Banners are to be no more then 500x150 in size, and no more then 75 KBs in file size. You may also have no more then 10 lines of text in your signature. This is not only so we don't have massive signatures cluttering up the page, but so our 56K members will have no problems loading up the pages. Their modems already go slow enough, and they don't need gigantic banners adding to the load time. Banners should contain no pornographic, or innapropriate images. If you have trouble figuring out what innapropriate means, just ask yourself if your mother would approve. If she wouldn't, neither would we. - Avatars - Avatars are to be no more then 125x125 in size, and no more then 35 KBs in file size. Avatars should contain no pornographic, or innapropriate images. If you have trouble figuring out what innapropriate means, just ask yourself if your mother would approve. If she wouldn't, neither would we. The RULES! 1. Absolutely, positively no spamming, unless it's in a designated spot. This will be in the Spam Forum for now, but in the future we may create a single thread for spam. Spam is considered off-topic posts. Basically, posts that go off into their own tangents in legitimate threads. If you are wanting to create a thread, but are unsure if it's spam or not, please, do not hesitate it to run it by one of the board moderators. If your post doesn't seem useful to the thread in any way, shape, or form, just don't post. 2. No flaming, of any kind. This includes calling members innapropriate names, bigotry, racism, or just anything that would provoke a member into an online fight. We do not plan to meditate fights very lightly, and if we see two members going at it, they will be dealt with appropriately. We will not tolerate this on the boards - at all. 3. Cussing is ok, to some extent. However, we don't want to see stars all over the place. Cuss words like 'He**,' 'Dam*,' and 'suck' are OK if used sparingly. 4. Stolen artwork is a big no no. Not only can you get in trouble for posting something that doesn't belong to you, but we can as well. Somebody would file 'Copyright Infringement' against us, and that is not a light fine. Artwork is defined as graphic arts, drawings, writings, et cetera. 5. If you see a topic which will be locked by a mod, to not post in there. We don't need any members making comments along the lines of 'why did you make two topics you're so stupid.' Mods are in place so that THEY can do the job, without an attitude. We want to represent a friendly community, and the way some of you guys handle those kinds posts/topics are cruel. 6. Never, EVER ask to be a Mod. We will decide when we need new mods, and if you ask, we'll only put you at the bottom of the list for when we choose. If you prove yourself to be a valuable member, then we will pick you if the time comes. Until then, just enjoy being a member. 7. Please don't post your own site in a thread. That is called advertising, and it's generally not good forum netiquitte. If you want to post a link to your own forum/site, please do so in your sig. Members will click the link if they want to. There is also a forum for advertising, and please don't create more than one thread for your website. That's called spamming. 8. You may "bump" threads, but only if no one has posted in them for at least 24 hours. 9. You may double post, only if it is allowed by the creator of the thread, or you are bumping a thread. Rules can be added onto, or amended at any time an Administrator sees fit. These rules are subject to change when we feel necessary. Auspice skin created by sakuragi-kun of the IF Skin Zone.
