Initium is a sci-fi play-by-post RPG set in the year 2411 in a moon colony. With Earth uninhabitable, the Nu System is home to humanity with the Alliance controlling the Inner Planets and the independent and unfortunate people of the system inhabiting The Fringe.

The Fringe colony of Initium is now confronting threats both from the Alliance soldiers investigating colony activity and within the colonists themselves.

The Outer Colony
Outside the dense collection of buildings and constructions that make up the main part of Initium Colony lies the "outer colony". The outer colony is home to small buildings and grounded space vessels, which now function as homes and, in some cases, places of business- both the legal and the illegal.

The colony only covers a small portion of the moon. Some colonists enjoy a bit of exploration in the woods and plains and hills- even mountains- of the wild. It's advised that they don't go too far away, though. The land isn't always forgiving, and there is no help beyond the colony.

The Battleship: Alexandria
A fairly massive battleship remains parked outside the colony to house the Alliance soldiers currently stationed on Initium. The living space is a bit cramped, but it's better than the tents! Colonists seem to be avoiding the general area like it's home to the plague.
