Here's an announcement being issued to all Alliance personnel:



Sixty Alliance military personnel have been found dead following an attack by unknown Fringe persons on the supply ship Prometheus. The motives behind the attack remain unknown. Personnel are advised to travel in groups while venturing into the colony and to avoid fraternizing with colonists while an investigation is in progress to determine who is responsible for this attack.

The attack itself consisted of an assault at the front of the ship when unidentified Fringers opened fire on personnel unloading cargo. Meanwhile, others gained access to the ship through the ventilation system. One prisoner, a young woman, was taken from the ship. The attackers were able to escape due to an explosion outside the ship, which caused sand dust to fill the air and limit vision.

Following the attack, an explosion inside the ship occurred, destroying a number of the ship's systems. The ship remains grounded indefinitely.

All personnel are required to cooperate with the investigation of this incident. More information will be provided as soon as it is available. Anyone with information on this incident should report to Lt. Colonel Ryder

As the incident is under investigation, Marcus Caine, Lt. Colonel Ryder, and other Alliance and Fringe leaders are working to figure out who is responsible for the attack launched by Michael Archer and friends of Michael Dawson. Tension is higher than ever between Fringers and Allies in the colony, especially in the ARF, where Alliance personnel have become extremely invasive. Many suspect the attack was ordered by Caine, while numerous colonists have suggested that the Alliance arranged it as an excuse to take over the colony.
