Restoration in France has been a long time coming. With over
a century of fighting in Paris, destroying the city, many members of
the French Resistance welcomed a new government committed to
rebuilding their home. Now the Resistance has been forced underground,
constantly trying, with some guilt, to fight against a government that is
rebuilding their city. It�s a moral dilemma that seems impossible to solve.

SAVE OUR SOULS & S.O.S - The Second Sign

If there is any country that can claim stasis throughout the war and
occupation, it is Bulgaria. It took its beatings, fought back when it could,
and in the end, remains mostly unchanged. Apart from Durmstrang
becoming coed, little has changed in this relatively isolated country. The
Resistance experienced its downfall and dissipated, but a new movement
lurks quietly in its wake. The danger, however, comes in the increased
militaristic presence of the ever growing school of Durmstrang.

Italy seems to be in an infinite state of waning and waxing. The Italian
Resistance spent over one hundred years confined to the Vatican City, only
to break free and take control of all of Italy, to then be pushed back within
their old walls after years of fighting. Maltalvia is once again a
governmental institution, Naples tries to be as apolitical as possible,
and Vatican City remains the capital of traitors.

PERSONALITY.

One moment a confident, passionate young woman and the next possibly a quivering lump of self-blaming goo, Adrienne's personality can be quite the contradiction in terms. There are things in her life that she's accepted, learned to live with and grown confident about over the years and there are things that she is quite unsure of, things that make her nervous and things that leave her with the uneasy feeling of not knowing how to react though she feels that she's expected to. What it boils down to is that while Adrienne is self assured and independent, she's also got the unconscious guilt of her past mistakes hanging over her head and it seems that though she tries, it might not ever fully go away. For Adri, it's much easier for her to blame herself for her faults than point them out in others and she's been known to take this as far as accepting blame for something she had nothing to do with, if nothing else than to avoid that confrontation.

Intelligent, Adrienne possesses the ability to 'think outside the box' when presented with problems and can examine the situation from all angles before coming to a conclusion and making a decision, which as a norm usually takes her forever. She's forever indecisive, always changing her mind and worrying about if the other options would have been a better choice. She can easily go from emotional to overemotional without warning and while she's a protective person over those she cares for, she can become clingy and is unable to let go. She doesn't like living in the past but holds on to her memories.She uses her intuition wisely and more often than not it pays off for her, she's got an active imagination and she's a creative spirit. She's a loving person but with little life experience can be cautious in her decisions. She's a strong Death Eater, even at this early stage in her life.

Adrienne stays out of the political arena and refuses to take sides, even if she's told she has to.

LOOKS.

Adri's features are a complimenting blend of both parents' bloodlines; Italian mixing with Scottish Celtic to create a look not often found. A small forehead sits above wide eyes that show little of the upper lid. A long nose, high cheekbones and a rounded chin frame an average sized mouth with full lips. Her face is more round than oval and when she gains any weight, it is first and most obviously seen in her face rather than in any other place on her body.

Because of this fact, Adrienne has a fit, trim body that she keeps in shape almost religiously. Her slightly taller than average height frame and her muscular frame combined with an athletic grace give her a comfortable confidence in her body that isn't often found in females. Her eyes are clear and 'sparkle' with emotion when she shows her inner feelings and her white, even teeth are often shown in a full, open mouthed smile. Adri's skin is a clear, creamy complexion somewhere in the middle of the paleness of her mother's and the darker tones of her father's skin. She isn't considered beautiful in the conventional sense but she's rather fond of her own uniqueness. She doesn't often wear makeup aside from a touch of mascara to better frame her hazel eyes and a light colored lip gloss.

Before graduation, Adrienne often cut her hair, leaving it just above the shoulder blades. It's now been allowed to grow to just above the middle of her back and she'd never felt more free than she did immediately after she let it grow. It's very thick hair, full of body and seeming to have a life of it's own with large, loose curls around her neck and shoulders. It's color is naturally a deep dark red and easily highlights in the sun. It's most often worn down around her shoulders with pins or barrettes to keep it out of her face.

HISTORY
---UNDERGOING A RE-WRITE---

Adrienne lives with her father on the outskirts of Rome. Her mother died of childbirth when she was thirteen. The baby, however, did not survive. Apparently it had been a miscarriage. Her father has never really been the same sinc ethen. She hardly ever sees the guy except during meals or going out with random girls - a different one every night. And when he's not doing a girl who could be up to seven years his junior, he is keeping himself busy with helping Voldemort weaking the Resistance forces nearby. Sometimes she helps him out with that whenever possibly, though. Addie rarely ever coops herself up indoors, unless she is sick or whatnot. Most times she is out on the streets having a good time hanging out at Entropine. Her favorite pastimes are flirting, having sex, smoking, drinking, and dancing. Her father has never really cared much when it comes to flirting or hving sex - because he's always busing himself with some random chick from the streets, whose age difference from her father could be anywhere from five o seven. Addie doesn't like this much because she had thought he'd have some sense of lovesick grieving from losing his wife and son in a miscarriage, but keeps her mouth shut about it. Her father has an ill temper when frustrated, but never goes to the point of getting overly out of control. Over the years, Addie has been known t obe a bit of a rebel when it comes to rules and the like. She is a genuine thrill-seeker who will do anything - both stupid and/or dangerous - just for the sweet kick of adrenaline she gets from it. She has never done anthing overly stupid and/or dangerous to the point of getting herself killed or seriously harmed, however. In the future, Addie hopes to become a better Death Eater than her father- although also an official one, too. But she needs the Dark Mark to really call herself an official one, however.

CHRISSY says: "I'm not really sure about Adrienne. She seems nice, I guess, sometimes. But I've known her for a while and never really got the feeling she liked me. MARC says: "This woman does strange things to my head. I guess she makes me understand what other guys say about women being the most confusing things ever to have walked the planet, you know? Guys say what they mean - "I'm hungry" means I'm hungry, "I'm bored" means I'm bored, "I'm horny" means I'm horny - but women skirt around the details! "I'm hungry" actually means I'm hungry but I'm not going to eat because I've got a size 4 dress I want to wear at next weeks party, "I'm bored" actually means you'd better hurry up and entertain me and no I don't want to shag you, and "I'm horny" actually means I'm horny but not for you. Why can't women just say what they actually mean? When Adrienne says she hates me, what she actually means is I drive her crazy but I'm damn good in bed. I'm sure of it.

We're in a bad place right now. As in, we're not talking to each other and we're not planning to talk to each other again anytime soon. A couple of years ago, though, before she graduated, we were in a brilliant place. We were the single prettiest couple Maltalvia had seen. The parties were great, the drinking was great, the sex was great and - damn that girl can kiss - but I just... I suppose I ruined it. Truth is that I got scared. Adrienne can wrap me around her little finger so easily that it's frightening, and I couldn't be around that, I shouldn't be dominated by a woman. And what was I doing in a relationship? My goal in life is to have sex with as many people as possible, not just stick with the same broad and the same "not tonight honey". So I got dressed, I left, and I didn't go to her graduation. She sent me letters but I burnt them in the fireplace of the common room. We haven't seen each other, or even spoken to each other, since then. I don't think she knows why I left (and I could never tell her, it would ruin my pride) but I know she hates me for just dropping her that way. I suppose you have to be cruel to be kind sometimes, you know? It's safer if we hate each other."

LEO says: I never thought I would see the day that I would actually find someone that was more reckless than I was. I mean I�ve done everything from the bunny ears in a picture to broom surfing and cliff diving. I�m a risk-taker and I don�t care if my bones end up breaking in the process. I mean bones heal, right? So when I met Adri here, I was beyond shocked. I mean if I jump from a cliff, she�ll find a higher one and show me up. The girl has more energy than the Energizer Bunny and ten cups of caffeine combined. But that�s why I enjoy spending time with her. There�s never a dull moment when we�re hanging out, and in a way I guess we balance eachother out. I mean, if you�re looking at a spectrum of recklessness. Either way, she gets me to do crazier stunts, and I get her to lay back a little. I mean the girl�s mind goes wild, so I get her to sit down every once in a while and pay attention to something other than fun. I helped her out a lot with like school work and all that kind of stuff because it just comes naturally to me. But yes, I enjoy having Adri around a lot, and she�s actually one of the people I can tolerate in the work place. Thank Merlin for people like her. I�d probably AK myself at work if there weren�t people like her around.

ADRIENNE says: I can say with all certainty that I would be nowhere without Leo Pesavento, it may sound exaggerated and melodramatic, but it's true. You see, Leo's really the cautious one of the two of us. Really, you'd think Leo, being the 'laid-back wild child'' I, would be the one to keep him out of harm's way. But it's COMPLETELY the other way around. I'd probably be dead now if it weren't for his natural worrying nature. He's the one that makes me question if certain actions are actually a smart idea. Which is good, considering half of them probably aren't. Okay, fine! Maybe it's more accurate to say two thirds of them probably aren't. But that's not all. See not only is Leo my personal moral bodyguard, he is also...secretly, a mad genius. Leo Pesavento is not only the smartest person I've ever met since Frey left, (and maybe a little smarter) but he's also taken the mantle as the greatest tutor EVER. If it wasn't for Leo and his awesome frontal lobe, there's no way I could've gotten past the finals. Honestly, his brain is so big I think he may be capable of telekinesis.
