England is now anchored as the base of the occupation.
Its Resistance is divided in its allegiances and unsure of the
direction of its future. England is at once safe because of its
proximity to the Chancellor and in danger because of it. Often
subject to his volatile temperament, England is forced to often
placate this unpredictable leader.

One Man for the Ages - What has Chancellor McCarthy found?

Restoration in France has been a long time coming. With over
a century of fighting in Paris, destroying the city, many members of
the French Resistance welcomed a new government committed to
rebuilding their home. Now the Resistance has been forced underground,
constantly trying, with some guilt, to fight against a government that is
rebuilding their city. It�s a moral dilemma that seems impossible to solve.

SAVE OUR SOULS & S.O.S - The Second Sign

If there is any country that can claim stasis throughout the war and
occupation, it is Bulgaria. It took its beatings, fought back when it could,
and in the end, remains mostly unchanged. Apart from Durmstrang
becoming coed, little has changed in this relatively isolated country. The
Resistance experienced its downfall and dissipated, but a new movement
lurks quietly in its wake. The danger, however, comes in the increased
militaristic presence of the ever growing school of Durmstrang.

Italy seems to be in an infinite state of waning and waxing. The Italian
Resistance spent over one hundred years confined to the Vatican City, only
to break free and take control of all of Italy, to then be pushed back within
their old walls after years of fighting. Maltalvia is once again a
governmental institution, Naples tries to be as apolitical as possible,
and Vatican City remains the capital of traitors.

Wouldn't it be hard though, to change a spell like that? I don't know how spells are created, but I would think it took a wizard like Voldemort to create the original spell in the first place. So, whoever put this new one up has to have a lot of power, right? He'd have to either edit the original spell, or create a whole new one. I am picturing someone more than just a lackey. Hmmm. I'm still crossing my fingers for good ole' Voldy, but I'll be excited to see who it is regardless. EDIT: So, after going through and reading all the posts in the Underground, and etc, I really don't think it could be Voldemort. But I have a question. Is this person who is back, is this the same escaped prisoner? Or someone different? I think it's someone different. I think our best possible bet would be Crouch Jr. --------------------

I mean, it could have been him who changed the spell and such. If McCarthy wanted to catch him so badly, there must be a reason. But the phrase "I'm back" just makes me see it as someone we've already been introducted to. If I was this evil dude, that phrase wouldn't mean anything if no one knew me, and it seems that no one, except for the Chancellor, is supposed to know who Drago-? is. Gah, my mind's all boggled. Does that make any sense? --------------------

I checked but couldn't find any characters in the Ls with that kind of name. Though it might be mixed up. Guess I should check the Os too. -waves hand- Anyway! It's gotta stand for something! And the prisoner...who are the past characters that have be en really super important to the plot?
