Central Paris: Topside
The streets of Paris, once ravaged by decades of war, are slowly being reconstructed and opened to the public. Most smaller projects have been completed: restoration of the Seine, the streets, and the shops. However, the ruins of larger monuments and buildings still remain, though are almost always under construction. It seems to have become a popular past time of Beauxbatons students to sneak into these construction areas at night for a little sense of adventure.

Death Eaters' Headquarters
Similar to the Ministry of Magic, the Death Eaters’ Headquarters is the main center for the internal business, functions, and movements of the Chancellor. It is smaller and more intimate than the ministry, and tends to be based in more military functions. It is the ultimate place to work to promote the interests of the occupation and the government.

Beauxbatons School of Finishing
Beauxbatons is a finishing school located in the center of Paris; once a war-torn city now being rebuilt as a result of the occupation. It is meant is to breed perfect members of society- the elites. It is essentially the private school of Europe. With so many students restricted in a city under construction and under such strict rules of decorum, undoubtedly there are possibilities for students to get into trouble in their down time.

Central Paris: Underground
The city of Paris has a long and interesting history beneath its streets. Almost completely hollow underground, what exists beneath the streets of Paris is often more interesting (and populated) than the ruined metropolis above. Deep in the infamous catacombs and the expansive metro, the French Resistance flourishes, lives, and fights against their oppressors.

The French Countryside
The sweeping French countryside is picturesque and peaceful - in great contrast to the bustling metropolitan areas and Paris. Its rolling hills, lazy rivers, and groves of shady trees practically ask to be put on a postcard. Small towns, humble cottages, and sweeping chateaus are nestled here - Beauxbatons girls [as well as boys attending other schools] call it home.
