So sorry to have posted this late. I totally forgot all about it and didn't realize we hadn't posted it with the Welcome Thread.

Anyways, to help keep things from being to confusing and so you all know where we are are board wise compared to the TV show, I wanted to post this for you guys. We are still in the beginning of Season 2.

Yna and I spoke about it and we figured that it would be right after the time Damon went to Duke with Alaric and Elena. Hence the reason Mason Lockwood is still around and why certain canons (like Elijah, Luka, and Klaus) aren't open for play. They might be at a later date, as of right now though, they are not because our main "bad guy" is Katherine.

So the time frame is right after Damon tells Elena she has a lot more in common with Katherine then just looks, but before Mason has been invited over for the BBQ. Aside from Katherine, no one else knows about Klaus or the Originals, so any speak of them should be extremely limited right now. It would be kinda pointless if everyone knew about the Originals, Klaus or what the Sun and the Moon curse is really about.

Also, with our board being AU, we still have the option to change what the curse is really about. So if anyone has any ideas they'd like to share, feel free to do so, but again, for posting In Character, very limited knowledge of Klaus and all of them. If you have an idea where you're character knows of them, you can contact an Admin and we can see what can be worked out. Obviously other vampires aside from Katherine know about the Originals, but we don't want them to be the bad guys just yet.
