Baldr
The highest among the Gods, their true ruler. Above all else he is the God of beauty, but he is soveregn over many other things. He is the God of innocence and purity, of joy, and lastly of peace. He is said to be the most beautiful being in existence.

His past is the most troubled of all the Gods. He was killed before Ragnarok, by his own brother, Höðr. Loki, the God of mischief, tricked Höðr into it, but it was still his hand that threw that fateful spear. Hel promised to release him from the underwolrd, on one condition: all creatures, alive and dead, had to weep for him. So much was he loved, that all but one did. That one was a giantess named Thokk, later revealed to be Loki in disguise. His act condemned Baldr to the underworld.

When Ragnarok came, he was released at last. There was peace among the nine worlds for a time, but it was shattered by one of his own. The Goddess Freyja seized power in a shocking attack. Baldr was defeated by her, along with Nanna and Frigg, as she wielded a twig taken from Yggdrasil. He spent another thousand years in the underworld.

Another deal had been made though, on behalf of this most tragic of the Gods. After a thousand years he was released. Now he hides in Midgard, from Freyja's searching eyes, waiting for the time to wrest back what is rightfully his.

Höðr
The blind son of Odin. Tricked by Loki, he slew his brother Baldr. He was in turn slain by Váli, and sentenced to the underworld. After Ragnarok had passed, he was released with his brother and Nanna, now reconciled with them. Baldr had never truly felt there was anything to forgive, understanding Loki's trickery, and Nanna had accepted this with time.

He was still as gloomy as ever, and this only increased when Freyja took power from Baldr. He fled, and wandered the worlds alone for many years, gaining much wisdom. Eventually his brother was released once more, and he joyfully reunited with him.

Magni
Son of Thor, and the only other being capable of wielding the great hammer Mjolnir. He has taken over his father's role as the God of thunder. His steed is Gullfaxi, the son of the dead Sleipnir, and the fastest horse in the world. He is almost always cheerful, a stark contrast to his younger brother, Modi. He is worshipped by many in Midgard, and is possibly the most favoured of the Gods. All in all, he is very similar to his father, except that he is slower to anger and somewhat quicker to laugh.

Modi
Son of Thor. Of the Gods that survived Ragnarok, he is the closest to Freyja. Over time, his jealously at his brother Magni has grown greater and greater. He seems always to be angry, and thus has been dubbed the God of anger. He married Gná, one of Frigg's former handmaids. Many of the Gods believe that this marriage was not entirely voluntary.
