Dungeon Corridors
One of these corridors leads to the Kitchens and the Hufflepuff Common Room, it is brightly lit and the walls are lined with pictures of food. Unfortunately, the other corridors are not quite so inviting.

Potions Classroom
This classroom is far colder than the main castle, and would have been quite creepy enough without the pickled animals floating in glass jars all around the walls.

Kitchens
To get to the kitchens, take the door to the right of the main staircase in the entrance hall. Follow the corridor until you come to a painting of a bowl of fruit. Tickle the pear and it giggles and becomes a door handle.

Entrance Hall
Four giant hourglasses - one for each House - stand in niches in a corner opposite the main doors. Each hourglass is filled with gemstones rather than sand, one gemstone in the lower bulb for each House Point currently held by that House.

Great Hall
A vast chamber with an enchanted ceiling that mirrors the sky outside. Four long tables for the four houses. Closest to the doors from the Entrance Hall is Slytherin, then Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and next to the far wall, Gryffindor.

Muggle Studies Classroom
An elective class that Hermione Granger took when she attended the school. It is a class that is particularly popular among muggle borns and those who know nothing whatsoever about the subject.

Defence Against the Dark Arts Classroom
This is a class that has always created a lot of controversy. Some are against it, and some are for it. Either way, students have no choice but to attend.

History of Magic Classroom
This is not a popular subject among students, and it has the lowest pass rate of all time. Apparently it is not a subject pupils deem necessary. Unfortunately for them, the schoolboard have made it compulsory.

Transfiguration Classroom
A popular subject all around, this class is one that is rarely skipped by students - although it is also known for producing the highest rate of injuries.

Moaning Myrtle's Bathroom
Most avoid this bathroom since Myrtle still regularly floods it. If you've got a secret that you don't want anyone to know, or want to arrange a liaison, this might be the best place to do so, however.

By:
Second Floor Corridor
This corridor isn't often used as the only place it leads to is a stone gargoyle. What many students don't realise, however, is that this gargoyle is the "doorway" to the Headmasters office.

Statue of the Humpbacked Witch
This statue is actually only a covering for a not-so-secret passage into Hogsmeade. Teachers patrol this spot vigilantly at nights to make sure students don't take any impromptu trips out of the school.

Charms Classroom
Another popular class, students often either find they have a flare for this class, or that they don't. Either way, attendance is compulsory.

Third Floor Corridor
This corridor used to be known as the "forbidden corridor" as it was guarded by a giant, three-headed dog named Fluffy. That is no longer the case, however.

Trophy Room
Hogwarts has a trophy room where all the old awards, trophies, statues, cups, plates, shields, and medals are kept in crystal display cases. It is a popular setting for detentions.

Hospital Wing
The Hospital Wing used to reside on the first floor, but was moved to more spacious settings on the third floor in 1995. Every healing potion you can imagine is housed in a well secured cabinet, here.

Fourth Floor Corridor
This corridor holds a secret passage that leads up into the Prefects Bathroom above. The secret passage is concealed by a tapestry, but that's not much help since the walls are lined with them!

Boys Bathroom
Surprisingly, this bathroom is well maintained and is kept clean and sparkling 24/7. Oddly, you find girls in here just as often as you find boys. We have no idea why.

Prefects Bathroom
Inside, the bathroom's walls, floor, and single sunken bathtub are all made of white marble, lit softly by a candle-filled chandelier that impressed Harry on his first visit. The rectangular tub is the size and depth of a swimming pool, and even has a diving board, but unlike an ordinary pool the tub is lined with about a hundred taps, each with a differently coloured jewel set into the handle. Each tap automatically releases not only water, but also bubble bath.

Head Boy and Girl Dorms
These dorms are supposed to be strictly for the Head boy and girl, but Professors have been known to turn a blind eye when students sneak into these opulently decorated rooms.

Ancient Runes Classroom
This is not a class to be taken lightly, as it includes a lot of hard work and effort. Many students attend these lessons, however, because Mythology appears to be an incredibly popular part of the course.

Sixth Floor Corridor
This is one well lit corridor that is often packed with students and Professors alike. It's many windows offer wonderful views of the school grounds, and on a sunny day you can see the other end of the Forbidden Forest!

Girls Bathroom
This bathroom is particularly obnoxious as it's walls are lined with all manner of pictures of former students dressed in pink robes. No one seems to recall why, however.

Divinations Classroom
Access to the Divinations Classroom is by means of a ladder through a ceiling trapdoor from the room below. The room contains an oppressive fire with a copper kettle that gives off sweet-smelling fumes and the walls are lined with shelves containing tea cups, crystal balls, decks of cards, etc.

Room of Requirement
The Room of Requirement is a magical room which can only be discovered by someone who is in need. It is called the Come and Go Room by the house-elves of Hogwarts. This room is incredibly popular, especially among students up to no good.

Seventh Floor Corridor
This corridor leads away from the Divinations classroom and is therefore incredibly popular among those students that think the class is a complete waste of time.

Astronomy Tower
The schools northernmost tower, and also it's tallest, this tower is where observation sessions are held for Astronomy. It is also handy for meeting with broomstick riders in the dead of night.

Owlery
The Owlery is where the school owls and the owls belonging to students live, is located on the top of West Tower and is also pretty good for those that want to meet up in secret, as the only ones listening are the owls.

This wide open space is perfect for a number of things, although it seems to be most popular among the female students for sunbathing. Each to his own, mind.
