Lucy is certainly not looking for love, though that doesn't necessarily mean it won't force itself upon her. Ultimately Lucy is a lesbian, though she certainly hasn't even begun to acknowledge it, so it's unlikely there will be any "otpness" on the male side of things. She would be resistant to advances from just about anyone, as she's convinced herself she just wants to focus on school, so if your character was interested they'd have to be pretty persistent. I'm more than open to have her date, especially for the beautiful awkward threads that would ensue. Lucy is very much a virgin, so bear that in mind. I want a best friend character for Lucy that she'll eventually fall in love with, which I'll elaborate on in the friendship section. If you want some lesbian-ish plots, just be prepared to be mature about it and to plot it thoroughly and realistically. :]

Being the bubbly and friendly person she is, Lucy has likely accumulated a lot of friends. She is active in a number of clubs, especially as an RA at the dorms, so if your character is an RA it's likely they interact. Anyone in the dance or theater programs she'd also be very familiar with. I really want Lu to have one really, really close friend, ideally a girl. Lucy is eventually going to develop romantic feelings for her best friend, and will ideally be rejected. It's up to you whether or not the friend lets her down easy or all-out despises her. A best friend of Lucy's would likely have similar interests, and would probably be either an RA or in the dance program. Or maybe they met elsewhere. I'm open to any ideas, so just shoot.

Being a dancer is extremely competitive, and I'm sure Lucy's personality has managed to rub some of the snarkier dancers the wrong way. It's not unlikely she's accumulated a number of frenemies, as well as a rival or two in the dancing world. Also once she's outed, I'm sure there will be a number of people that outright hate her. I'd really like her to have someone that dislikes her, they could be a friend at first or not, that ends up outing her. Maybe she'll notice how she looks at another girl, or even catch her with one depending on how plots go. Maybe it just starts as rumors; we can plot it out. Specifically, that's what I'm looking for.

Lucy's older brother Jack also goes to the school, but that's really the only family she has nearby. If you'd like to discuss the possibility of cousins, etc, that's totally fine.
