APPLICATION RULES

Before character creation, please read THIS NOTE from your friendly admins.

1. All new character applications must be submitted in the Pending Applications sub-forum.
2. Application headers should read LAST NAME, first name middle name.
3. DO NOT UNDER PENALTY OF DEATH mess with the code of the application.
4. DO NOT bother putting wip in the sub-header of your application if it is, in fact, a work in progress.
5. Please ensure that you VERY CAREFULLY AND CLEANLY delete the application categories that do not apply to your character.
6. The admins will post any comments, concerns, or corrections in the posts beneath your app. Keep an eye out for those and make changes promptly.
7. When you are finished and happy with your app, post again in your app topic saying done, woohoo, everything great, etc etc so we know you're ready for review.
8. Do a good job. I mean, really, please.

UNDERGRAD STUDENT INFORMATION [DELETE THIS SECTION IF YOU ARE NOT A STUDENT]
[ THE MAJOR ]:

choose from the following. (should you wish to create a new major or a specialized major, please pm an admin first): 
Art: architecture, interior design, landscape, fashion design, fabrics and textiles, radio, studio art, graphic design, illustration, photography, sculpture, art history
English: creative writing, literature (can opt for a concentration eg. British lit, American lit, folk lore), poetry, linguistics
Film: general film major, screenwriting, cinematography
Music: instrumental performance, vocal performance, composition, musical theory
Dance/theatre: dance (can opt for concentration in ballet, modern, etc.), theatre performance, playwriting, opera 
Other: anthropology, math, science (physics or biology), philosophy, psychology, sociology, chemistry, political science, economics, foreign language (specify language), astronomy

[THE MINOR]:

almost all of the majors above are available for a minor with the exception of the music and dance options (not including playwriting). If you already are a music or dance major, you may choose a minor in the same category.  

[ THE YEAR ]:

freshman, sophomore, junior, senior. Victory-lap seniors are allowed, but no higher than fifth year. 

[ STUDENT TYPE ]:

Specify here whether or not your student is on any scholarships, etc. If they have a scholarship, you must write at least a paragraph about why or how they earned it.

at least 3 sizable paragraphs describing your character's personality.

[ THE APPEARANCE]: at least 400 words about the character's personal appearance and habits, including sense of style and hygiene as well as physical appearance.

[ THE PARENTS ]: Full names. Occupations. Does your character get along with Mom and Dad? Are they respectful adults?
[ THE SIBLINGS ]: Full names. If they go to this school, what house and grade are they in? Does your character like little bro and big sis?
[ OTHER IMPORTANT RELATIONSHIPS ]: Does your character know anyone particularly important? Was Grandma a large influence in their life? Tell us more!

[ PERSONAL HISTORY ]:

At least five + paragraphs detailing personal history, everything and anything making up who your character is today.
