The year is 1967. The United States is shifting dramatically as new music, new culture, and political turmoil begins to shape a new era of the nation. At Harriman University in the heart of New York City, a new generation tests its voice in a social climate ready for change. The only question that remains is what it will be saying.

The oppressive heat of the dog days of summer is still present but waning into an almost bearable pre-fall. Temperatures typically rest in the eighties, but will settle down to the mid to sometimes even low seventies on cloudy days. The humidity of summer is slowly beginning to make way for the dry coolness of a New York fall, and the students walking around in it welcome the change.

MOVE-IN DAY IS HERE
It's move-in day at Harriman U, and students and parents alike are hauling boxes and bags of their worldly possessions up to their new rooms. Returning upperclassmen happily exchange stories from the summer and course schedules while freshman make awkward introductions to new roommates. But as anxious mothers kiss their babies goodbye and hand over their freedom until the break, the brains of students old and new can't help but reel with the possibilities of a new semester.
