Lions have always been my favorite animal. When I was 8 years old, I seen a lion get in a fight with a Tiger at the Glen Oak Zoo in Peoria. The lion kicked his ass.

Well, most tigers are actually larger than lions, by about 150 pounds. Lions, however, hunt in packs, to make up for it. Personally, I've always had more of an affinity with tigers, since they're loners, mavericks, etc. I like free spirit. But as for my personal favorite animal, few can beat the mighty Gray Wolf. Wolfs are large (about 150-180 pounds), they are some of the most intelligent creatures on God's green earth, they hunt in large packs, enabling them to take down large creatures, like moose and elk, and they have insane endurance. Wolves can run at a good 25 MPH pace for HOURS on end, without stopping. They can simply run whatever prey they're chasing right into the ground. And they use complex pack coordination techniques to separate the strong from the weak. Awesome animals.

War produces classic remarks by military commanders; on February 26, 1991, the US 1st Armored Division, the famous Big Red One, encountered the allegedly elite Iraqi Republican Guard. The divisional commander, Major General Ronald Griffiths, radioed his deputy, who was riding with the armored spearhead. "I understand we are engaging the Medina Division?" he said, referring to one of the crack Iraqi Guard divisions. "Negative, sir," came the reply. "We are destroying the Medina Division."
Great proof that despite their quantity, the Soviet tanks that NATO planners feared above all else could be shredded by the M1 Abrams, Challenger 2, Leopard 2, LeClerc, Ariete, and Merkava with ease. Patton would be proud.

The Lion vs. Tiger fight itself= Lion wins. There's a reason he's the king of the jungle.

Though I do have an affinity for bears and gorrillas.

Yep. I remember that episode in 2004. Lion beat the Tiger with a throat bite.

I love lions however I wouldn't go by Animal Face off and as much as I loved the show. That show at the end whoever pressed the red button would lose. I say Lion in a fight because they spend their whole lifetime fighting and training. Tigers are beautiful animals and are loners. Therefore if it saw a lion it would probly avoid it if it could. Because Tigers have no pride or pack too depend on if injured.

Yes, but the largest of my favorite animal, the bear, could wipe the floor with the largest lions and tigers.

The Kodiac bear has reached a gigantic size of 2,500 lbs and stood 14 ft tall. The largest tiger was a Amur tiger that weighed 1,025 lbs and was 13 ft long and the smallest of the three is the lion whose largest was 595 lbs and 11 ft long.

As you can see, the Kodiac bear is by far the largest predator on the planet.

YEah, my favorite non-pack animal is definitely the bear. Grizzlies and Kodiaks are just so huge and ...manly, and the Polars are so beautiful and their cubs are unreal in their cuddliness.

And who put a Silverback in here? Even the largest Gorilla would get schooled by a tiger, bear, pack of wolves, lion, or even a good sized leopard. They aren't big and strong enough.

Actually The Silverback can stand a very good chance. One punch to the face of a lion, tiger, wolf, ext they would be done. The Silverback can lift over 800 pounds. Their strength isn't the only thing they have fang like teeth as well.
