Well, the final four teams are playing, and the Pens and Wings apear to be dominating, but anything can happen. Who will win, or who do you want to win the Stanley Cup? Choose now!!

War produces classic remarks by military commanders; on February 26, 1991, the US 1st Armored Division, the famous Big Red One, encountered the allegedly elite Iraqi Republican Guard. The divisional commander, Major General Ronald Griffiths, radioed his deputy, who was riding with the armored spearhead. "I understand we are engaging the Medina Division?" he said, referring to one of the crack Iraqi Guard divisions. "Negative, sir," came the reply. "We are destroying the Medina Division."
Great proof that despite their quantity, the Soviet tanks that NATO planners feared above all else could be shredded by the M1 Abrams, Challenger 2, Leopard 2, LeClerc, Ariete, and Merkava with ease. Patton would be proud.

Well, from the looks of tonight's game, the Pens seem to have it in the bag against Philly. And Detroit is handling the Stars like the pros they are, so I'll say that the Wings and Pens are in a collision course for the Stanley Cup Finals. I'm a Wings fan, so I predict that the Wings take it in either five or six games.

LETS GO WINGS!!!!

The rivalry begins.

I live only two hours away from Pittsburgh, and I'm a die hard Steelers fan, but ever since the 2000 season, my hockey loyalties have been to the Red Wings. I like the Pens, but I like the Wings way, way more. teu42.gif

Yeah, I saw it. He is the best player to ever lace up for the Pens. Crosby might surpass him in greatness, but it will take 15 years to show that Sid the Kid belongs in the "Legends" category.

doubt it mario is considered one of the top 5 ever in many peoples eyes, and he played his career with cancer, and back problems, and got those just as he was reaching his prime. don't get me wrong crosby's good but he just doesn't compare.

True. Time will probably tell. Can Sid do ten straight seasons with 100-175 points numbers, or will he be inconsistant. Time will tell. When I'm old and grey, I can look back and say I live through the time of A. Sidney Crosby, the superstar, or B. Sidney Crosby, the average star.
