if your really voting on beliefs and values, might as well forget this election mcain, clinton, and obama all are communist trying to get their own wants in place of what this country needs... me even though he has a snowball of a chance of winning, i'm going with ron paul

Hey, another Ron Paul supporter. Yes, If I had to chose, Ron Paul is my clear favorite, but since he has no chance in winning, I have to go with McCain. And Clinton and Obama are far more socialist than McCain. McCain at least believes what he says and sticks by it. Clinton, and partly Obama, keeps flip-flopping on the issues, not nailing down one credible belief.

yippy you like ron paul too check this out, all these are facts backed by united states voting records:

He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.

now let that all sink in.

he also promised to abolish the federal reserve the irs, and federal income tax, as soon as possible

I like him cause he's a strict Liberterian, and my beliefs are close to mirroring his own. The only thing I disagree with is his opposition to the Iraq war, but that's a minor quibble. Personally, I don't like the isolationist viewpoints of many people. Great facts on Ron Paul though. If I could vote (and I will for the 2010 midterm election), he'd be my guy OVER McCain. Also ironic how at the time of this writing, the bottom of the thread page features an ad fro John McCain. tongue.gif Wonders never cease.

BTW did anyone else notice how the media only gave coverage on obama, clinton, and mccain even during the earlier days of the election.

No, Romney got coverage, and so did Guiliani.

not positive media, and not nearly as much, it just goes to show you how much the media determines the election

Well, in my opinion, the media is overwhelmingly in the bed of the liberals, and most of them are leaning toward Obama, since he's black and they like it when someone "special" runs for office. I don't know why they don't like Hillary, but that's the way it is.

War produces classic remarks by military commanders; on February 26, 1991, the US 1st Armored Division, the famous Big Red One, encountered the allegedly elite Iraqi Republican Guard. The divisional commander, Major General Ronald Griffiths, radioed his deputy, who was riding with the armored spearhead. "I understand we are engaging the Medina Division?" he said, referring to one of the crack Iraqi Guard divisions. "Negative, sir," came the reply. "We are destroying the Medina Division."
Great proof that despite their quantity, the Soviet tanks that NATO planners feared above all else could be shredded by the M1 Abrams, Challenger 2, Leopard 2, LeClerc, Ariete, and Merkava with ease. Patton would be proud.

Except for Foxnews, and most people call them Neo-Cons anyway. You can't win with them.
