Agreed.

Magic swords cut him, so what would a magic hammer do?

And how are hammers better than swords? huh.gif

Just because a sword cuts him doesn't mean he doesn't have the strength to catch a hammer? A kid with a sword could cut me, but doesn't mean I couldn't catch a hammer blow. Not saying that Thor's a kid....

Anyway! I said this was just to post pics so stop arguing! tongue.gif

I couldn't decide who won this fight between Punisher VS Deadpool so I decided to post the whole thing. I guess no one really wins against Deadpool:

Also, Sleepwalker VS Spiderman. Can't help but feel that both were holding back on their full potential, but still interesting. Sleepwalker is the coolest char ever!

I'm sorry Culwych, but I have to...

...it's not just any hammer. It's a magic hammer (magic being one of Sup's only weakness'). It's not only a magic hammer. It's a god hammer. It's not only a god hammer. It's wielded by Thor: God of Thunder!!

I'm pretty sure the implications supposed to be that the hammer was stopped because Superman was worthy to take hold of it.

I mean, Thor was hurting Superman with the hammer pretty badly every time he didn't catch it, so I don't think they wanted it to appear like Thor was much weaker than Superman was. And Superman goes on to use the hammer later on in the story when the Avengers and Justice League team up.

That sounds about right. He was getting hurt by the hammer before (which I will post later if I remember). I just feel like people focus too much on this "vulnerability" to magic. Yes he can be hurt by magic, but he's not allergic to it. He's as strong as, if not stronger than, Thor, so the fact that he could catch the hammer is plausible.
If I recall correctly (and I will check because I've got the comic around here somewhere), Hercules withstood a solid few blows from the hammer, so why not Superman?

Anyway......................... huh.gif

Here's Ms Marvel VS Sabretooth.

So many times have I heard it be said (mainly on CBUB) that Deathstroke took on the entire Justice League and won. He didn't. He took on a few and still managed to do very very well (even though none of them were really working as a team). Most of you have probably seen this one, but I thought I'd post it anyway as it is one of my fav fights.

Morale: Don't mess with Deathstroke. Enjoy:

Deathstroke VS Flash, Zatanna, Hawkman, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Ray Palmer (The Atom) and Green Lantern

For the record, Deathstroke's mode of beating the GL was extreme PIS.

Just saying.

Note: Hawkman has his cool, earth glove in that last fight....

Why PIS for Deathstroke?

Yup, Hawkman glove thing is wicked! I wonder why he doesn't use it more often.

Ah never mind about the Deathstroke thing. I thought you meant beating the JL. I actually agree on the Green Lantern thing. Very PIS and actually doesn't count as a win because Green Arrow intervened.

... mellow.gif Umm....No.

Classic Thor is much stronger than Supes, by my reconing.

This is classic Hercules...Marvel version. The dude's arm wrestling contests had the ability to move planets out of orbit.

He one-shotted Firelord, a herald of Galactus! wacko.gif

Hmmmm.. not sure about the strength thing. We could post thousands of pics arguing who is strongest and get nowhere. I'm happy to call it even.

Hercules certainly is strong. I have the whole collection of the old comics somewhere, will have to dig them out.

On with the posts: Juggernaut VS Thor (round 2)
