"In the nexus of all realities, there is a world. A physical dimension created by the energy of Human imagination. Every reality ever given the consideration of thought centers around this point; it is the world of Khazan!! Khazan is considered the intersection of the known multiverse. It is here that every fight in your mind's eye takes place. It is here where any character you can conjure up can fight in any way you see fit for dominance. As they say in Khazan, “The only limit is yourself.”

It is in this world that the Tournament of Fighters takes place. Brought together via personal invitation by a mysterious organization within Khazan; 32 fighters from across the multiverse fought for one honor…to be the greatest fighter in the multiverse (also to win a substantial cash prize)!! The winner of the competition will face one bonus match and two boss battles to determine their worthiness of the title. Round 3 takes us further into the depths of the fantasy world of Khazan. Within the four sectors of Khazan you will witness the creations of the imaginations of man as we enter new treacherous territory. Due to the constant threat of exposure and the collaboration of the Khazan police and the Multi Universal Authority (M.U.A.); the mysterious organizers of the tournament must stage their battles in the worst arenas known to Khazan. These arenas will take place in the following sectors: the Industrial, Lowtown, Uptown, Science sector and the ever popular Arena of Khazan. The plot of our fighters and the purpose of the puzzling tournament unfold as we bring you Round 3 of the Tournament of Fighters!!

- Introduction –

Previously in the Tournament of Fighters, while investigating the malevolent intents of the organization tourney competitor Nightwing stumbled upon an eye-opening discovery. Deep within the hidden fortress of the tournament organizers was a laboratory operating room. Within its walls were the bodies of all the defeated tournament fighters and one tournament gambler by the name of Granobulax. Several scientist, a few guards, tournament host Treacherous and the enigmatic leader of the organization stood before the cadavers performing strange experiments. Nightwing reported all of the followings to an outside source whom he had been corresponding with during his explorations.
Nightwings presence was quickly exposed as another tournament fighter Kazuya interrupted his spying. Looking to dispose of his father’s body, which was vanquished in the very first round; Kazuya had been following Nightwing and finally hit pay dirt. Opening a trap door beneath the fighters; Host Treacherous and his cohorts made a quick exit leaving Kazuya and Nightwing to their pit of death. Kazuya determined would not be defeated so easily. Transforming into his extremely powerful devil form, he made short work of Nightwing and flew out of the trap door to safety. Still seeking his father’s remains, he swiftly made his way to Treacherous who had been waiting intently.
Treacherous had a surprise for Kazuya…his name…Akuma. Hired as a body guard, Akuma seeks to challenge the winner of the tournament to prove he is the strongest power in all dimensions. The fight ended quickly however, as Akuma exorcized Kazuya’s demon to hell using the Shun Goku Satsu. Still alive, Kazuya was separated finally of the his demon soul. Later in the tournament Kazuya was forced to fight against the mighty Iron Fist in an enhanced Arena of Khazan. However, the Arena deathtrap was rigged to well as both competitors lost their life in the fight. Infuriated the tournament leader demanded satisfaction. Seeking to spare his own hide, Treacherous offered to bring back Kazuya’s devil soul to fight once again. Having come to the conclusion that the devil was not defeated in the actual tournament, the dark leader agreed to have the devil back in the competition.

Currently In an undisclosed location somewhere in the Science Sector of Khazan, The tournament continues…

Tourney Organizer: Where are we?

Treacherous: I welcome you to The Khazan Institute of Illicit Arts. It is a school. It is within these walls where we will return the demon soul of Kazuya.

Tourney Organizer: Let’s do it quickly. I don’t like the looks of this place. How do you even know of such a place?

Treacherous: --- ignoring that last comment, treacherous points to a plaque at the entranceway. --- Look at this…an ancient language. It says, “What are you willing to do for power? Would you kill? Maim? Ruin lives for a mere taste of true art? Is your soul scoured free from innocence and filled to the brim with cynicism? Theirs are. Theirs always have been.” Yes, this is the place. I made a wager with them for the return of the devil. If they bring forth the demon for us, we will offer them the life of the loser of our next fight. A soul for a life.
Tourney Organizer: Very well. I am quite interested in this devil gene of Kazuya’s. It will add quite nicely to my genetic collection. Let’s get this over with.

Before treacherous can knock on the door, twenty cloaked figures appear from all directions surrounding the tourney crowd and guards. One figure points at the body of Kazuya. “Give him to me.” Treacherous complies as his guards throw the body forward. “Let this fight begin and get off our grounds.” Treacherous quickly forms a circle and pushes the patron gamblers back. Dayouthgonewild, Ethan, Artemis Entreri, Marvel Man and many others silence themselves in anticipation. Two van doors open and Huo Yuan Jia and Gabriel Law step out.

Gabriel Law: What’s this? One more. I thought Yulaw defeated all our alternate reality counterparts. Who are you?

Huo: I am Huo Yuan Jia! Founder of the Chin Woo Athletic Association.

Treacherous: The similarities are remarkable, but I assure you that he is not one of your otherworldly dopplegangers. He is one of the strongest warriors in history. Now prepare yourself for battle, because I’d hate to be the loser in this fight.
Huo are you ready? --- Huo bows --- Law are you ready? --- Gabriel nods and bows ---

Very well. LET’S GET IT ON!!

Ursa: You are master of all you survey.
General Zod: [bored] So I was yesterday. And the day before.
