Every person from Great Britain I've ever talked to on the internet has refered to themselves English.

Any reason why you call yourselves English rather than British, or United Kingdomers?

Because being British makes no sense, Britain is a combination of countries so the only way to be British is to be from each country (no it's not like saying you're European or anything like that) so it's preferable to name the actual country rather than saying British. Stuff like that.

As for feeling guilty when going into a museum I don't get that, I get interested in the stuff and if bad things have happened I can be quite horrified but I don't feel guilty because I haven't done anything so why should I?

Because calling us British is actually vague.

I mean, we could be English, Welsh, Scottish or Northen Irish for all you know if you keep calling us that.

Oh, I got you. For some reason I was thinking that England was renamed Great Britian and that became apart of the United Kingdom.

No clue, never actually called a black person an African American but then again I'm not from America so it doesn't come up but that has always seemed a little odd.

Anyway, can I leave now?
