QUOTE (Solomon @ Feb 25 2009, 11:53 PM)
But soft! What light through yonder window breaks?
It is the east and Juilet is the sun
Arise fair sun, and kill the envious moon.
Who is already sick and pale with grief.
That thou her maid art far more fair than she.
But not her maid, since she is envious.
Her vestal livery is but sick and green.
And none but fools do wear it. Cast it off.
It is my lady! O, it is my love!
O, that she knew she were.
She speaks, yet she says nothing.
What of that? Her eye discourses; I will answer it.
I am too bold tis not to me she speaks.
Two of the fairest stars in all the heaven.
Having some bussiness, do entreat her eyes.
To twinkle in their spheres till they return.
What if her eyes were there, they in her head?
The brightness of her cheek would shame those stars.
As daylight doth a lamp; her eyes in heaven
Would through the airy region stream so bright.
That birds would sing, and think it were not night
See how she leans her cheek upon that hand!
O, that I were a glove upon that hand.
That I might touch that cheek.

Poetry is extremely lame unless it's your own, and even then it's got to be the right girl who would appreciate it. sleep.gif

Why do all my curses get bleeped but not yours? huh.gif

Ohwell...

It's crazy man, I think the fact that she makes my mind spin is why she is so appealing to me! happy.gif

Bloody your missing the point. That was basically Nd4's story. It wasn't meant to be advice.

Advice 2:

Figure out the things she likes and is into that you are also into. Don't try to be something you are not, but try to find common ground. If there is something she likes that you are good at and are into. Try to show her that you are into it too. At least as much as she is. She might have some shameful hobby that she likes that nobody would appreciate but you. This will connect you two.

To find out this stuff you are going to have to get in good with the friends though. But, like Jailer, Bloody and Ethan said, the friends game is tough (You mess up and your dirt). However, if you do it right... biggrin.gif Good luck. I dated the best looking girl in Junior High doing that.

Think about it. That whole dialogue is how Romeo is deeply in love with Juliet, but because of their family rivalries he's hesitant to speak with her.

How does this relate to ND4? Well he's like Romeo in the sense that he's dreaming of this girl but because of this girls relations he his afraid to close. No its not exactly the same, but it has a few similiarities.

Besides, I was just being overly romantic laugh.gif laugh.gif

Gah. Shakespeare's worst play.

Read Othello for his best.

You wont be laughed at, because I'm sure that we've all liked sombody at one point or another. As for her insulting you, it's either that whole "opposites attract"  thing, or she honestly doesn't like you. You can't force anything, so if she hates you, move on.

Opposites attract? I dont get it?

But you might still be able to be friends, like Basset with his many lady friends. biggrin.gif

Ahem. I have a date, thank you. tongue.gif

But yes, lady friends are awesome.

People come here for advice because it's far easier to talk to people you trust that don't actually look you in the eyes. I've gotten some extremely valuable advice from members on here that I'm deeply appreciative of.
