I think this would b a good fight, Wolverine with his healing factor and adamantium vs Peak Human Captain America with his shield.

Isn't cap's shield made out of adamantium. That kinda equals it out but wolverine is stronger than cap so he will win.

It's actually made of vibranium.

As for who wins, Wolvie would dominate because of his regen, and super human strength.

Captain America couldnt inflict enough damage fast enough for him to take down Wolverine.

his shield is an adamantium/Vibranium combination that no one has been able to duplicate since(except Molecule man)

If he bashes Wolverine in the Head enough he can win but I'm leaning toward Wolverine

It's generally agreed that they would not break, but they wouldn't cut him either, unles Collososus or someone like that had them.

I wasn't going to say that cause there is no way in hell wolverine could hurt him.

If I remember from my crash course in basic Marvel Universe chemistry 101 ("Available at your nearest Marvel store"), Vibranium liquidates other metals that it comes in contact with because of the energy it emenates. So Cap's shield liquifies Wolvie's skeleton and claws.

If I'm wrong, then Cap puts up a great, very close fight, but Wolvie's slightly superhuman strength, stamina, reflexes, healing, and claws give him the edge. One false move by Cap and, unfortunatedly, heads will roll, quite literally.

War produces classic remarks by military commanders; on February 26, 1991, the US 1st Armored Division, the famous Big Red One, encountered the allegedly elite Iraqi Republican Guard. The divisional commander, Major General Ronald Griffiths, radioed his deputy, who was riding with the armored spearhead. "I understand we are engaging the Medina Division?" he said, referring to one of the crack Iraqi Guard divisions. "Negative, sir," came the reply. "We are destroying the Medina Division."
Great proof that despite their quantity, the Soviet tanks that NATO planners feared above all else could be shredded by the M1 Abrams, Challenger 2, Leopard 2, LeClerc, Ariete, and Merkava with ease. Patton would be proud.

1) It's only the anti-metal vibrainum that melts other metals. Cap has the normal Stronger-then-addimtum kind.

2) This happened a year or two ago. LOgan is trained in several martal arts, Cap has been trained in virtaly every kind. And he got rid of Wolvie's claw factor by tearing the tendons that extend the claws in the first place.
