No, he would not. He said himself "I'm one of those kids that supported him just because he was black."

I'm saying that these kids know nothing about politics. They just know a black guy is running and they support him because he's black. That's wrong. It's stupid. It's a mockery of our political system and it's making a joke out of Obama being elected.

At least Dark took everthing he knew about both candidates and supported Obama based on what he thought was best. I'm not saying that it's good to be ignorant, but it could be worse.

It's worse when people know about the candidates' stances but still vote based on one aspect. So many people watch all of the debates and speeches but still vote for the candidate from their party rather than the one he/she thinks is better for the country.

My history teacher agreed with Obama on all of the issues but the Abortion issue. My teacher was pro-life and voted McCain based on McCain's views of that alone. That's stupid. Especially when the country is doing as bad as it is. Issues such as that should only matter in cases of indecision, not completely sway a vote to the other candidate.

Oh, this is good. the most sarcastic and {arguably}one of the most intelligent people on Wiidom face off. as for the guy with the lead, i'm going with surfer. You don't vote for someone just because he's black. Heck, me and Obama are both half black and half white, but i still went for McCain. though a part of me is glad he won because he was our first black pres, i found some of his issues agianst my morals{Though i won't specify, it's not of his "musilm ties" nor the fact he had a homosexual pastor for his irrugation[spelling]}. I lost a small deal of respect for darkie{Yes, I know you don't care}. On a side note, this has gone from a rant on Drakender's avatars to a rant on some of Obamba's supporters. Perhaps we should make a new topic, no?

Yes. The topic should be "who thinks Surfer is the most intelligent guy here?" and then whoever says, "I do!" will be banned for life.

HA. JK surfs. You're great.

Well, at least you have the guts to admit it.

It's nothing to admit in my opinion. He's already the president.

That's not the point. The point is that you supported somebody based on their race. Which is the exact opposite of the teachings of Dr. King

Then it is the point. I supported somebody over somebody else, because he was black. Even if I took out the fact that Obama was black I would have still supported him.

Would you have?

Yea, because of the uneducated fact that Bush and Mccain have close ties.

...And I don't like bush.

So, my point still stands. You know nothing of Obama's stances on any issue, he's just black and not connected to Bush.

Wrong, I may not have knew all about his views when I decided to support him, but I knew he was a democrat.
Why would I want a president that has close connections with one of the worst presidents in history?
