I have to say, each one of them has produced a lot of my favorites.

But I like more songs in the 80s than anything else. All great, though.

War produces classic remarks by military commanders; on February 26, 1991, the US 1st Armored Division, the famous Big Red One, encountered the allegedly elite Iraqi Republican Guard. The divisional commander, Major General Ronald Griffiths, radioed his deputy, who was riding with the armored spearhead. "I understand we are engaging the Medina Division?" he said, referring to one of the crack Iraqi Guard divisions. "Negative, sir," came the reply. "We are destroying the Medina Division."
Great proof that despite their quantity, the Soviet tanks that NATO planners feared above all else could be shredded by the M1 Abrams, Challenger 2, Leopard 2, LeClerc, Ariete, and Merkava with ease. Patton would be proud.

I kind of want to leave because so many people like the 80s. Do you all like crappy hair metal?

No. I like Eddie Van Halen, Genesis, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osborne, Iron Maiden, and basically most of the greatest rock bands of all time, who were all around in the 70's, 80's, and early 90's.

Hair metal dominated the 80s. If someone thinks of the 80s, they think of Hair Metal.

I don't. I think of awesome guitar riffs and deep drum beats.

To Bassetman, all of this is Heavy Metal or even Death Metal, which Iron Maiden is because two boys killed themselves after listening to Iron Maiden, except for Van Halen which is Hair Metal and Genesis which is just crappy music. The 80s is known as the crappy decade of music for a reason. This isn't my popular opinion, this is popular consensus.

So, Surfer, in your opinion, which era was the best?

60's mainly, but the 70's were just brought down because the 1969 Woodstock was in the 60's not 70's. The 90's wasn't the greatest, but it brought in some super awesome bands like Nirvana and Grunge/Indie/Alternative music which is getting increasingly better as more bands come out. The only half way decent band in the 80s was Red Hot Chili Peppers which are fu***ng awesome.

It's The Beatles. And I like both, but haven't listened to the Beach Boys in a while.

Sorry, forgot about the name change. I'm used to writing the car's name, from VW.

This is tuff. The 80's had some great stuff, like Jacko turning white and doing Thriller, but the 90's had great stuff too, like me for example. I was born in the 90's. As far as music goes, we'll never forgot the Originals, but once again the 90's proved themselfes by having great bands like MSI and Linkin Park. It's a tuffy.
