Jim Morrison requested I try horror in the CBUB and this is what he got. Okay, that's all I'm posting.

Takes place after Resident Evil 1

It’s dusk and a mist blankets the cursed town of Raccoon City like the dark hand of death. As night falls on the city, the whirring blades of a chopper cut through the sky like a knife through butter. The helicopter comes to a raging halt in the grass of an abandoned and wrecked mansion owned by the Umbrella Corporation. Albert Wesker knows it well, for it was he that lead to its and the city’s destruction. Wesker thought no force on Earth could drive him back to the mansion. However, he was wrong. Under orders of his superiors at the Umbrella Corporation, Wesker must once again step into the wreckage of the mansion once overwhelmed with zombies and monsters. Sent to retrieve a file of a future endeavor of Umbrella known only as Los Plagas, Wesker must follow orders.
The fog and mist makes it incredibly hard to see as he stretches his hand out in front of him to observe his lack of vision. Also, his hearing is deeply impaired as the helicopter blades roar to a stop. Wesker steps down from the helicopter and takes a deep breath of the cool night air. With the helicopter blades finally coming to a full stop he listens as the familiar sounds of crickets and wind fill his ears. He smiles hoping for a simple mission. His brief calm is interrupted almost immediately, however as he hears the slow moan that would only be familiar to a small few. No one knows better the sound before him. With a Magnum 357 ready, he breaks open a flare and tosses it into the space before him. Nothing. He tosses another behind him. Nothing. The moaning stops. Confused and now ever cautious, Wesker considers it a good time to move closer to the mansion. Poised and ready, he takes off double time towards the ruins. Suddenly, he hears the fierce growling of a dog. He speeds up and points a flashlight wildly in every direction. Still nothing. What started as growling becomes panting as the dog sounds to be running in Wesker's direction. Wesker pulls out a weaker pistol and shoots a few errant shots into the air, hoping to scare the mutt away. Unexpectedly, he trips up as he stumbles over something soft, yet firm. He falls face first in the dirt and panics as the dog sound completely stops. On the ground, he peers forward. The mansion just mere feet before him, he cannot go down this quick he thinks. Rolling around to face the oncoming dog, Wesker’s face turns pale as he turns to face Joseph Frost. Joseph’s face slides through the mist and freezes Wesker cold.
Joseph was one of the first S.T.A.R.S. Bravo team to face the haunted mansion before Wesker, Jill Valentine, Barry Burton and Chris Redfield first entered the mansion not long ago. He was one of the first men to be killed by zombified dogs that roamed the grounds. Wesker, thinking him to be a zombie explodes the Magnum point blank in his face. Blinking just briefly from the sound of the shot, Wesker stumbles backwards as Joseph has completely disappeared. No trace of body or blood. Picking himself off the ground, he runs full stride to the door of the mansion. Once inside, Wesker crumbles to the ground. He thinks, “That wasn’t a zombie? What the blazes was that? His face was stark white? His body….Come to think of it, I never saw his body? And where were the damned dogs!?! What’s going on here? I’ve got to get this damned file and get out of here.
Wesker picks up his cell phone and calls the helicopter to tell him to be ready at any moment for his departure. The phone rings once and answers. Wesker listens for a hello, but hears nothing. “Hello?...........Hello? He says. No reply. Gradually, a slow moan builds on the other side of the receiver. The moan sends a chill through Wesker causing him to nearly drop the phone. Wesker pulls out a grenade and kicks down the front door to check on the chopper. To his surprise the chopper is gone. Squinting, Wesker looks out into the mist to see what looks to be Kenneth Sullivan. Kenneth another member of the poorly destined squad that entered the mansion was also stark white. His face hung down and you couldn’t see it as his hair hung in his eyes. Again, a dog began to growl in the distance. This time from behind Wesker, spinning quickly Wesker jumps as the sound is coming from Joseph who is laying across the floor of the mansion. Wesker’s stomach turns as he notices the reason why he never saw Joseph’s body. It was half eaten and his intestines lay spread across the floor. His blood trailed his body.
Wesker begins to aim to shoot the white faced ghoul when he remembers Kenneth outside. He whips around again only to be completely startled as Kenneth is standing right behind him. “AAAIIIIIGGGGGHHHH!!” Wesker screams and falls unto the floor sliding backwards right into Joseph. “AAAAIIIIGGGGGHHHH!!!” He screams again. Completely flustered he jumps up and makes a mad dash for the left doorway inside the mansion. Running for what seems to be days, he finally stops deep within what’s left of the house. When abruptly his cell phone rings, rushing to pick it up he speaks in a whisper. “hello.” He says. A female voice answers back. “Wesker, wesker wesker. You sick ass man. You see what happens when a woman is scorned.” The woman scolds. Wesker recognizes the voice. “Jill Valentine!! You bitch! Don’t tell me you’re behind this. I’ll kill you for this.” He rants. “You won’t live to see me again, Wesker. You see, your mission is a complete fake. Your last day is now. I’ve done a little research. I know Umbrella’s plans. I’ve already recovered the files for Los Plagas. Not only that, but I‘ve faced and know what haunts the house. It’s called the Grudge. It’s a curse that you awakened in that dark evil place. It is a curse that is born when someone dies in the grip of a powerful rage or extreme sorrow. It can’t be stopped and you will feel it’s grip tonight.”
Wesker tightens his hold on the phone in fury and starts to scream, “How did you beat it? How did you live? If you can make it, so can I.” Jill laughs into the phone and explains, “You’re a fool Wesker. The Grudge doesn’t want me. You started this, now you must finish it. Goodbye.” The phone hangs up in Weskers face. He bangs his hand into the wall in anger and paces the hallway. His anger is broken however when, He hears moaning sounds in the hallway, so he quickly exits to the stairs. His phone rings; the caller ID indicating Jill. When he answers, the terrible moan is all that greets him. The stairwell lights flicker and shatter one by one, coming from the top down as well as the bottom up. He hears a dog barking in the distance. Wesker looks over the railing to see Kenneth’s ghost crawling jerkily up the stairs. He hears a helicopter blade outside. “Help is here!” He thinks. His phone rings again. Luckily it’s the pilot of the chopper. He tells Wesker that he saw him fighting in the grass, but there was nothing there. He tells Wesker he was shooting wildly in the air at nothing. Wesker looks down the stairs and notices that the creature is now almost on him. His only hope is to make back to the chopper alive………

Crap...not your story...I pissed my pants sleep.gif

See? He needs to do more horror, huh? biggrin.gif

Yeah! Not too much though I only have a limited supply of Pants... sad.gif
