Hmm...
I had no idea there was another Marvel Man. And he's British?

As for Rulk, Thor, the Watcher, A-Bomb, and Green Hulk should've stopped him. Still, that comic sickens me. He knocked out a Watcher?! With a punch?!

See, Uatu should've turned him into cheese. Or helium gas. Or a monkey. Or Blue.

Exactly! Also, Rulk got Thor's hammer with that zero gravity nonsense. The hammer works on worthiness not gravity!

Well, apparently, Rick is A-Bomb.

But Rick's enemies?
He's been Captain America's sidekick, Hulk's, and Capt Marvel. It could be anyone.

I've narrowed it down to two possible choices,The Devil Hulk seperated from Banner at the end of WWH, due to the massive energy blast banner split in 2 distinct personnalities...........different version of himself. or the red hulk could be *dramatic music* Loeb himself!

She was Mr. Blue in that Dream.....and Devil Hulk would've retained his form as per splitting, as Maestro who from the future died in the gamma bomb that created the Hulk, he reformed his body......so, Devil Hulk would've kept his form and another thing, Devil Hulk had to be restrained by both Gray and Green Hulk inside banner...so, if Rulk was him, he would've killed A-Bomb........and destroyed the world but he's a solider working for Ross.....so there's a few Army guys in my updated book that shows them having some connection to gamma.....maybe its Ryder? He used one of his men to try to recreate the Hulk, it worked, only it was the opposite of the Hulk, all Disfigured ans such....He proably tested on himself after asking for help from Ross........and who the hell is Loeb!?!?!?!?

Wasn't there some army general that made a weird version of Hulk? Then there's the Leader.

I'm just wondering why he spoke to She-Hulk, but just growled to Iron-Man...
Maybe Rulk is someone IM knows well enough to recognize a speech pattern? And knowing that, he didn't want to take the chance of talking to him and be betrayed by a typical expression Tony Stark might have recognized? just thoughts..

I think I know who......Ross's a general, and Tony's friend who's War Machine (I forget his name) was in the Air Force, maybe Ross called him in and asked him? He's pretty smart and this might attribute to Rulk's tactics in battle?

Ross definetly has what it takes to make another Hulk. He has prisoners that have succeded. It would only take a push to get the ball rolling.

Still, if it's Ravage, then how does he know about Bruce's life? And why is he red now?

alright, here's four points....

1. He has some knowledge of Gamma radiation and such, he taught Banner.

2. Its been proven Ross created Rulk, he's one of the few that has access to these stuff like Gamma machines, I'd bet he still has the formula of that Gamma Bomb.

3.Ross captured him after Hulk helped him defeat him....so....he might've been still in prison and Ross pulled him out...

4. Here's another thing, Gamma radiatin has different effects on different people, so The same effect won't happen again, its possible for it to have a different effect on Ravage.

as per to my last post, here's one more thing, he taught Banner and he like Banner alot, he was his favorite studen, so he must've had some onvos about his life with him.....

here's the skinny on Ravage, he was a proffesor that was tring to help Banner, only to trick him and steal his Hulk power, he at first had the same thing as the first Hulk, he only became hulk at night, this was RAVAGE....... this implys that he was the only possible succesion of creating another Hulk had he been left alone and allowed to evolve his power llike Banner has over the years.......but he was captured by Ross and the Hulk and placed under Ross custody, and he's been in prison ever since, he's an old man who's sick with a disease threatening to kill him, he could be him........

But why the sudden tranformation to the red hulk? And where did he get the radiation emmiting powers from? i'm confused wacko.gif

alright, here's four points....

The next issue has to come out for this debate to carry on. Jailer411 up, up!, and away!

Well, let's see what we truly know.

We know who it's not.

We know that Doc Samson/Ross created him or know who he is.

Rick Jones/A-bomb knows this as well.

Who is Red Hulk?

Suspects:
Ryder- old Hulk villain. Agenda against Hulk, and vast knowledge on the subject.
Ravage- recent Hulk villain. Taught Bruce, and is currently in prison. Under Ross.

D: Awesome

My favorite Marvel Character has to be between Black Panther, Blade, Spiderman, Luke Cage, and Wolverine.

Yea, they're all tied for favorite.

Well, Squirrel Girl is Marvel, but she's definetly overpowered. Her power is unnatural. She beat Doctor Doom, Terrax, and Thanos. With squirrels.

As for killing Hulk, that's hard. Killing Bruce might not be enough.
Once, Bruce got shot, but later, Hulk shows up with the bullet in his mouth. Man, the killer's reaction was priceless.

Still, Thanos is no ordinary villain, siding with whoever he wants to, and for whatever purpose. He has no http://www.the-isb.com/images/SSS-Thanos01.jpg

Yes.

After wiping out everybody (and I mean everybody, Eternity, Galactus, etc.), the Living Tribunal showed up.

And he couldn't stop him.

Still, recently, I've heard that the Living Tribunal that faced him was an avatar, and not the real LT. Whether this is true, or simply an attempt to make the LT look tougher, I don't know.

Then, after he destroyed the Multiverse, Thanos talked with Adam Warlock (who Thanos recreated), and decided to undo the Multiverse's destruction and erase everyone's memory of it ever happening.

Hmm...

VS World War Hulk
Well, Thanos, at base level, blasted Galactus accross a planet. He transmutates whenever he wants. Heck, I once saw a warrior madness Thor, use the Power Gem (making Thor easily 4x stronger than usual) fight Thanos. Thanos only got a bloody nose.

He could easily beat Hulk, overall. In a fist fight, it would be much closer. Eventually, without powers, Hulk might reach a tie, or even win.

VS Silver Surfer
One of Thanos's early feats, was taking Silver Surfer's most powerful blast, at point blank, and smiling afterwards.

Even at his strongest, Thanos beats Surfer with his own board.

VS Sentry
I wish I could say that the Sentry would put up a good fight, but I must be logical. Thanos backhands Robert. Still, Thanos would have a harder time against the Void...

Note: Void = Dark side of Sentry. Took on the X-Men, Inhumans, Avengers, SHIELD, etc.

At the same time...

Well, if the Man from Marvel shows up, he can anwser, but for now, I'll attempt to anwser it.

Yes, Annihilation Surfer gained an increase power boost. If I had to guess, he went from 1%, to 6-10%. Even then, I doubt Surfer could win.

Well, there's several different versions of each character.

If Darkseid is Pre Crisis, then yes, he probably wins.

Unless we use Death Thanos, the current Thanos (After Thanos died and joined Death), then it would be much closer.

Then there's the Anti Life Darkseid, who is pretty strong too.

Still, if we use classics, then Thanos takes it. Always.

Nope, Thanos turns the Omega Effect into something else or absorb it like he can absorb the Power Cosmic or redirect it with his Telekinesis.

I would think that is too much power to absorb but I'm not a comic expert so I don't know.

Marvel Man! unsure.gif

Well, he's also capable of absorbing quasi-mystical energies too, so I would have to safely guess that both properties of the power cosmic and the said energies would altogether fit with the Omegsa Effect's properties too, but that's just me.

Lately, the Omega Beams have lost their glamor.

Doomsday tanked them. Then took out Darkseid.
Supes is protected from it.
Raven's blasts can counter them.
Etc.

I'm sure Thanos can manipulate the energy or redirect it. Still, it does make things closer.

I was talking about the strongest version of both characters. By what you said, Darkseid would win.

Hmmm, hows about Superman vs Sentry?

The normal superman vs the normal Sentry. No pre-crisis or void. Both are at full power and both are pissed.

Who wins?

Sentry kinda seems like the marvel version of Superman, that's why I ask.

*Let me know if I'm asking too many questions*

Well, we're talking Darksied at his strongest which was Pre-Crisis when his Omega effect left a real effect. So he would give Thanos the worst fight of his life and then kill him.

Questions = good.

I was hoping for questions.

Sentry vs Superman

Sentry is not only, as fast and as strong, but he also has energy manipulation. He's an improved version of Superman.

Even angry, I don't see Superman winning this. Well, if you made this match (on the CBUB), Supes would win, but we don't use character shields/fanboys.

Posted by: granobulax Feb 20 2009, 04:52 AM
Cool. I'll keep the questions coming.

How's about WW Hulk vs Rune Thor in arm wrestling?

Posted by: Marvel Man Feb 20 2009, 04:56 AM
Rune King Thor vs World War Hulk
In arm wrestling.

Well, Hulk's greatest advantage, is that he gets stronger over time. Still, RK Thor is much stronger than Odin and other skyfathers. Still, this is arm wrestling.

If Thor goes all out, he would win.
But, if he slacks, and allows Hulk to build that momentum, then Hulk takes it.

Now, for the ultimate question.

Your avatar vs Marvelfan15's avatar.

Mine, of course! laugh.gif

But logically, that's actually a good fight. If both are classic, then I'd have to give it to Thor, only due to his experience.

At 75%, he can destroy 75% of the Universe. Meanwhile, Odin is merely a Galaxy buster at max. They're on different levels.

Maybe at 30% or 45%.

Thanos aquired the power to destroy the Universe,(According to Uatu the Watcher), but was defeated by Squirrel Girl.

How?
It's her power.

Anyone, stronger than her, is doomed to lose. She has a special aura. Thanos has no chance. Galactus gets stomped. Thor is devoured alive.

Yes, you can cry underwater. As long as it's fresh water.

Walt Disney had the Anti Life equation. He can force people to do anything.

I've been on plenty, and I think I should actually contribute something to those who actually read what I write. These are mostly the things I do to write.

Writing Tips

1. Get inspiration
MM: "I reccomend finding something you like/are interested.)

2. Develop Story
MM: "I reccomend doing this while waiting in line, taking a shower, reading, etc."

3. Write
MM: "Some would say that you should proof read, spell check, etc. But personally, a story should be written while the idea is still fresh. Sure, you can improve it, but I tend not to."

4. Post/Publish
MM: "Some would say, that you should do drafts over drafts and look over, ect. I don't do it. You can, if you wish."

These tips will hopefully help, but are by no means the only things you should do. These are just for fun. Still, good luck.

Well, at 100%, Galactus is tied with Death/Eternity and a Universe buster. He's definetly the bar through which cosmics are measured.

I'd say, in power ranking.

One Above All
Pre Retcon Beyonder tied with Squirrel Girl
Anyone with the Heart of the Universe
Living Tribunal
Phoenix Force
Galactus, Death, Eternity
Celestials, Infinity, Chaos, and other minor cosmics.
Thanos.
Heralds.
Sentry.

Spider Man.
Punisher.

Average Guy.

Note: I might be missing say few people, but I'm not sure about them. For example, Rune King Thor is much stronger than Odin Force Thor (who sent a hungry Galactus running), but I don't know how he stacks against the big G.

What exactly is the nature of the HoTu

Posted by: treacherous Feb 27 2009, 02:50 AM
The Squirrel Girl thing was a one-time joke that gained popularity after the obscurity ran out. In a Great Lakes Avengers comic she beat Thanos off panel in some weird squirrel melee. Ever since then it's been like her thing to beat extremely powerful people.

As for the HoTu, all energy physical and metaphysical emanates from the Heart of the Universe. Don't ask why, it just does. Marvel says so.

I must agree with Treach, Thor has experience and a warrior spirit. Sentry has mind boggling power, but lacks control.

But Void vs Thor?
On this, I must say that the Void would win. Sentry's power + being ruthless = win.

Seriously, the Void took on most of Marvel and nearly won. He's definetly on Thor's level.

Sentry and Thor will eventually have a throw down with this new Green Goblin evil Avengers thing happening.

Who would you pick in that fight treach?

Very tough. Sentry seems to have more raw power, but he is so psychically fragile. Thor is well...Thor. He smites stuff pretty good. If Thor keeps a cool level head, he could win. He could psych Sentry out. Make him think the Void is coming or something.

Actually...in raw power, they're about the same. huh.gif Yeah. Pretty sure they are.

Main thing about Void is that he can shapeshift into something that could wrap around Thor...like a snake. Or that symbiote thing. Either way, it'd be a good fight.

Which comic wins based on the line up?

Do you want real opinion, or Marvel vs DC outcome.

In Marvel vs DC (comic), Wolverine beat Lobo, which I highly doubt.

Storm beat Wonder Woman, which I also doubt.

Captain America beat Batman, which I agree with.

Spider Man beat Superboy, which might have happened. Spidey didn't go hand to hand, and used his intelligence.

Hulk lost to Superman. On this match, I shan't comment...

That Marvel vs. DC crap was crap. Superman would've beat Hulk, but not like they did it. Supes would've been a bloody pulp after his win.

Lobo would eat Wolverine for dinner.
Literally.

Wonderwoman would beat poor Storm to smithereens

Spidey's fight was spot on.

Cap and Batman is impossible to decide. They are too evenly matched.

Well, using my basic comic knowledge I wand to give this a stab. Anyone feel free to tell me if they think I'm wrong on any of these.

Superman vs Hulk - Superman would win. He's faster than hell and every bit as strong as the Hulk plus many, many other abilities that would enable him to win.

Superboy (I'm guessing anyway) vs Spiderman - No brainer, Superboy easily.

Wonder Woman vs Storm - I know Storm is a powerful mutant and all, but I'd honestly have to go with WW here. She's got the lasso of truth and is really quick and strong. (She has the power of a godess or something like that, right?)

I'm guessing that's Lobo vs Wolverine - This would be a stomp in favor of Lobo. His regeneration is supposedly faster than Wolverine's and he can be reduced to a single drop of blood and still come back. He also goes toe to toe with Superman so Wolverine gets stomped.

Batman vs Captain America - In a strait up fight without plot devices or set up time, just a fight, I'm going with Cap.

So, was I close?

Except on Superboy vs Spider Man.
If it hadn't been for Superboy getting tied then slammed into an electric power plant/generator, then yes, Superboy would've won. But he didn't.

As for Superman/Hulk,...
Let's just say that "The Death of Superman" is the only Superman comic I own.

Thanos goes all out: Hulk loses

Thanos gives Hulk no reason to get angry: Hulk loses

Thanos does something really bad to Hulk: Thanos loses really bad...assuming he doesn't go all out, first thing.

Plot device.

Let's pretend that you're going to eat a bowl of cereal. (metaphor for Galactus eating a planet) You attempt to eat it, when suddenly, your pet hamster, attempts to stop you. (metaphor for the Silver Surfer attempting to stop Galactus).

You then overpower the hamster, and again, attempt to eat the cereal. To your surprise, 4 flakes of cereal confront you, with one pulling out a shotgun. (symbolizes Reed using the Ultimate Nullifier of Galactus).

You then decide it's not worth getting shot, and leave to eat something else. Maybe some toast.

That's pretty much what happened. Galactus was threatened with the Ultimate Nullifier.

Ha!
Are you reffering to the Fantastic Four cartoon, where Galactus gets penitence stared. It worked there, but I highly doubt it would work in the comics.

It hasn't happened in 616 Earth, at least, not that I've seen.

If it did work, Galactus would probably feel what it's like to be eaten. Over. And over. And over. Etc.

He's been eating planets for quite a while, so it'd be painful...

Nice explaination.

If Galactus is so great, then how has the Fantastic Four beaten him?

dry.gif I firmly believe it was PIS....Still, it's a good feat...although incredibly stupid.

Now...Notice, I'm not trying to start a fight, or disrespect you. Got any other feats?

So, would the Void be able to do that against WWHulk?

Could he?
Yes.

Infact, that's kind of why Sentry lost. Sentry was (still is) afraid of using his full powers, since he believes it will bring the Void. During WWHulk, Sentry felt like he was losing it, and begged to be stopped. He never really fought Hulk.

Note: The Void is actually just the Sentry. When the Sentry "trapped" the Void in his watchtower, everyone else failed to see the Void. They saw a mirror...

How did they get physically seperated? Or did they?

I wonder why Reed Richards doesn't just split the void out of Sentry. He's got the technology to do it I'll bet.

Well, that's tricky.

Either,
1. He separated the Void mentally. While physically sending an illusion into the sun.

2. He didn't. The Void tricked him, and is waiting to strike...

Okay, about the Void vs. WWHulk thing...Void wins, but...let me explain.

Thing about Void is...he's a shapeshifter. Like when he broke all of Hulk's bones (designed to make him seem stronger) he took the shape of a symbiote.\, allowing him to use many tendrils.

He could become that, and distract WWHulk and tie him up.

...Is this a good explanation?
