Haven Of Wiidom > Original Team info > Greatest detective team
Posted by: daps£s May 27 2009, 08:22 PM
| So....I'm thinking we need to start this team creation thing back up. And I propose a challenge that everyone try to create the greatest detective team. Here are the rules:
1. No number limit, just more than one person
2. Those with detective like abilities apply, (secret agents, officers, etc....)
3. (unofficial rule) When creating teams, weigh in strengths, weaknesses, egos, etc. Don't just create a team to beat all the other teams, because I would like to do something in the future with this....
For example, my team is
Detective Wanda "Synaesthesia" Jackson (Top 10)
The Question (Vic Sage -DC Comics)
Johann Kraus (Hellboy)

| Sherlock Holmes (almost every good detective is based off him in some way)
James Bond (for the spying stuff)
L (Death Note)
Jimmy Kudo (Case Closed)

You really think Sherlock Holmes' ego will work well with Batman? Or that James Bond would listen to anyone? Heck would anyone listen to Jimmy Kudo? But I like that you included him.

Your detective didn't figure out anything.
Posted by: Darkender May 28 2009, 01:51 AM
You obviously don't know him...

What about other religious figures? L. Ron Hubbard......He can be partnered with Scully and Mulder.

L. Ron Who now?
Posted by: daps£s May 29 2009, 01:37 PM
The dude who discovered scientology.
Posted by: treacherous May 29 2009, 01:41 PM
Isn't he an alien?
Posted by: daps£s May 29 2009, 09:47 PM
Which is why he needs to work with Scully and Mulder.....y hasn't anyone posted on this? Post Treach!

| Great detective team ups. Okay.
Ralph Dibny (the Elongated Man)
Mr. Fantastic (technically not a detective, but he is a scientist and all scientists are detectives.)
These guys would work together well and catch any person living or dead.

My team already won. Athena.

Discovered? Strange choice of word there.
He's a guy who wrote a science fiction book that people started to worship. No?

Athena wouldn't get along with her team. Maybe if it were a team of Amazon's or females. Batman wouldn't get along with anybody, especially not Light. He'd beat the crap out of Light. Plus, Athena would tell L the truth about Light which would lead to Light's arrest. Your team wouldn't work together.

Athena would have the wisdom to NOT get one member of her team arrested.
Light is protected by Athena from Batman.

Athena's ego wouldn't work with any of them. Nuff said.
Posted by: daps£s Jun 2 2009, 09:42 PM
Ok, I agree with that.

| Dexter(Dexter's labortory.)
Posted by: beast93boy Jun 3 2009, 12:40 AM
| Revision from my last team
And that's really good enough...
Posted by: daps£s Jun 3 2009, 03:52 AM
Dexter's hilarious...but Sherlock's and Batman's ego's would clash, nothing would get done.
And L......is a badguy. Nuff said.
Posted by: treacherous Jun 3 2009, 12:00 PM
L wasn't the bad guy. Light Yagami was the bad guy.
Posted by: daps£s Jun 3 2009, 06:35 PM
OOPSY! My bad. Either way, it doesn't work. Everyone is making these teams based on ability alone, and not on the actual personalities. Booyao.
Posted by: beast93boy Jun 3 2009, 07:02 PM
Then it just boils down to Batman, Robin, and Oracle being the best team based on how well they work together, but that's not original...
Posted by: daps£s Jun 4 2009, 03:41 AM
Agreed. But that's the challenge, to steer clear from the norm.
