Tell me your opinion on your least favorite movies.

hamboy - January 14, 2008 07:43 AM (GMT)
Anything by Uwe Boll

Wingman - January 14, 2008 03:05 PM (GMT)
One of my all time least favorite movies is Dancing With Wolves. I just thought it so sad and heartbreaking, and I just have better things to do with my time. Also, Dragonheart, and Jurassic Park: The Lost World.

Bassetman - January 14, 2008 07:25 PM (GMT)

There was this one movie I rented for Movie Night. It was a Blockbuster (The store) Original. It was called Lady of the Spices. It SUCKED.

It was about this Indian spice shop owner and how she can never leave her store or the Spice Gods will punish her. She meets a guy, and is at a crossroad.

Horrible ending, and needed more to keep you watching. The only reason I watched the whole thing was because I was to shocked by how crappy it was to turn it off.

No real action. No Robin. And scince when did 'Rachael Dawes' exist?
Wasn't Bats real pal as a kid Thomas Elliot, better known as his villian persona-Hush?

Well, in it's defense, didn't Batman start out without Robin, and then get him later on?

It wasn't true to the comics, but c'mon, it was the best Batman movie since the Jack Nicolson/Joker origional.

I liked how he was so human, so normal. He had all human technology, no special, futuristic superpowers or abilities, just good old fashioned weapons and gadgets.

It was close to the comics, at least the one I read which is what they based his childhood and Carmine Falcone part off of. Robin wasn't in the comic I read and they cut his throat and stuffed crap into it. Robin likes crap. That's why I like crap. You have a problem with that?

I most certainly agree. He takes on a couple of thieves, and then heaves a rock into space. Hardly anything else.

there was this one movie, i forget what it was called, but it was the saddest movie i have ever seen.

it's about a boy and his friend, his friend, is really short, physically challenged, no friends nothing, but he's very religious. one day he is playing softball, he finally gets a hit and the ball strikes the head of a teacher killing her. toward the end of the movie, the kids are on a bus when they crash and end up in a lake, all the kids are afraid they going to die, but the kid, calms saying god will be with you, he manages to get all of them to safety, later on the gifted kid, dies

I've seen it. Sad, but not a bad movie. It's actually a good movie, I don't think it should be in this thread.

No one calls the Elephant Man a bad movie because it's one of the saddest in cinematic history.

...to hamboy: I totally disagree, when i'm watching a movie, sadness is not the emotion that i want so profoundly portrayed in a movie, a little sadness is fine, but this movie just goes way too over the top. i mean you can call it, a great cinematical achievement, but to me it's just disheartening, and the kind of movie that really brings you down in the dumps.
