Which is better? Which of the two friend wrote the better series of books? Argue Haven of Wiidom, argue!

I have only read the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. I tried twice to start reading The Magician's Nephew, but I simply couldn't stomach it. They're more like 8 or 9 year old fairy tails. LotR is most certainly an epic adventure that was entertaining, informative, and delightful reading to the very last page. I don't know why, but for me, it just is.

I perfer Narnia. LOTOR was kinda boring at some parts. Not Narnia. It was always entertaining. LOTOR is in a close second.

Perhaps I worded that in the wrong way. The songs were annoying.
