Title: Germany vs. Japan

Germany devastates Britain, conquers it, then proceeds to defeat Russia.

Japan holds off the Americans and keeps nearly every major island in the Pacific.

Now, the former allies square off!

Japan. Gremany would've used too many resorces on Britain and France while Japan had turf advatage against us and probably will against the the Gemans. Japs sit on there island and wait for Hitler to come for then then kick his butt.

But at the time, the Nazis were trying to split the atom. If they succeed in this scenario, they can just do what the Americans did and drop the bomb.

If Hitler would keep their noses out of the military's business, they'll win. But the fight against Japan is a naval one as well, and Germany has no aircraft carriers. They're much like us, only with a crazy leader and no navy. They have awesome tech, fierce determination, and they're not afraid in the face of fanatical charges. I think they could take it.

And there's no way that they could beat Russia and still be on their feet. That fight would still be raging today if the Soviets hadn't seized the initiative. The Soviets get extremely pissed off when you try to invade the Motherland.

Exactly Germany would be on it's last leg while Japan is relively fresh. Japan owns.

If it were a purely land battle, Germany would win. THey had a better army, better tech, and some brilliant generals. Hitler kept screwing things up, but they would win. But they had almost no navy, other than the U-boats and some battleships. THe Pacific War proved once and for all the superiority of carrier based aircraft over battleships. And the U-boats would be out of their home environment.

Yea, he did. They made piece with the USSR so as not to fight a war on two fronts like in WW1. And then the idiot decides to invade Russia. Dumbass.

For Germany to make it to Japan for an assult, they'd have to go by land. An attack by sea would be suicide because of Japan's vastly superior Navy. So they go by land, not only do they have to make it past the Russians, but the remaining Chinese forces as well. By the time the German army even arrived to Japan there would be hardly anything left if anything at all.

Dumbass.

I couldn't come up with a better word myself. You don't fight the US and USSR at the same time. I don't care who you are. Plus, he thought of himself as a military genius, so he tinkered with all the plans. He hand crafted the Operation in the Ardenne region that led to the Battle of the Bulge, and screwed that up. He ordered Paulus to not retreat, at any cost, from Stalingrad, when he could have gotten hundreds of thousands of men and much needed equipment out of a death trap and back where they could be of better use. And he screwed with Romell, arguably the best general of the war, and negated his brillance. Dumbass indeed.

i guess it kind of depends where the majority of the fighting will be taking place. If it takes place in Europe, Germany takes the win. If it takes place in Japan, Well Japan crushes them like it's no tommrow. However, if the fighting split evenly thats a much harder choice. In the end, i think Japan would take why, Superior Navy, the Bushido code, and in my opinion better military leaders.
