Title: A bit of advice, please

Pseudonym - March 11, 2009 08:31 PM (GMT)
(All names are different)
It all started in Spanish class. In the front row of desks, a friend of mine Ashley sat happily watching the movie. The movie was a high-school kid and his love interest blah blah blah.

The general consensus was that the love interest girl wasn't all that good looking so said Kevin from the back row.
"She's not even hot."

Amber, over to my right remarked.
"Everyone has the potential to be hot."

Someone made a comment after that. I didn't hear it. Suddenly, my friend Ashley whips around, looks hatefully at the back row and says "I heard that, thank you."

I could see she was hurt by whatever was said. She wasn't gonna cry, but she was really angry. Later I found out what was said from one of the people near where it came from.

"Everyone has the potential to be hot; Ashley would know." said by Jay.

Now that I know what was said, what do I do.

I made Jay apologize. I tried to tell Ashley that his opinion is "Unwanted, Unwarranted, and cruel." But she's still angry.

What now?

Jailer411 - March 11, 2009 08:37 PM (GMT)
Is she still mad at you, or is she mad at Jay?

Pseudonym - March 11, 2009 08:42 PM (GMT)
Not mad at me, I didn't do nuthin. She's mad at Jay.

If she's mad at Jay, then I don't see your problem. From what I can tell, she should be mad.

Ethan - March 11, 2009 08:54 PM (GMT)
Yeah, she should be mad, Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, yikes. Give her time to cool down.

Pseudonym - March 11, 2009 09:06 PM (GMT)
If you think Cool-down time is what it is then fine. But this kind of girl will get revenge.

And It's my problem because hanging with angry people is no fun.

well, give her time and try to talk to her.

treacherous - March 11, 2009 10:02 PM (GMT)
I say start a fight! Yeah!

SilverSurfer092 - March 11, 2009 10:05 PM (GMT)
Wait until the week is over.

If you get my drift.

But just wait for it to pass. How long can she stay mad?

He shouldn't have said anything in the first place.

Kind of related to PMSing, but no.

How long can she stay mad?

My friend has wanted to gut her ex for the past two months. She refuses to be around him (problematic for me as he's one of my best friends also).

Hell hath no fury.

granobulax - March 12, 2009 01:18 AM (GMT)
Try distracting her from even thinking about this Jay guy. If he comes up in conversation, figure a way to change the subject. Be smart about it though, because most women are uncanny at figuring stuff like that out.

That's a tad different than what Jay said.

The answer is quite simple: the girl is always right; as said by others hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Do the chivilrous thing and very publicly beat Jay into the ground for it. I reitterate: THE GIRL IS ALWAYS RIGHT!

Pseudonym - May 27, 2009 10:41 PM (GMT)
Months too late, but thanks for the sentiment.

You don't get it... yet. Ask any married or engaged man; they'll agree with me and Marvel Man. So when you try that stuff in ten years and your fiance hangs you stark naked upside-down by your genitals on the flag pole a forces you to watch her make love to your best friend don't come crying to us.

Heh, not at all, that's generalization right there. Not entirely true, besides I have my own experiences in some of those situations. And so I repeat what I've said in the last posts. On the other hand, I do get it, its unimpolite to talk about their weight and such. I do get that some women manage to be right most of the time, not all of them, just luck. I get being attacked by them as I've mentioned. So, yeah, I'm there, just I like to go against the flow.

You must lack pretty girls in wherever you're from.

Of course you can fight off an ugly one.

Shadow Fenrir - May 28, 2009 07:08 PM (GMT)
Actually, tons of them, some just really good looking and others really good looking and REALLY endowed :). You should come up here some time...

Solomon - May 28, 2009 07:10 PM (GMT)
Insanely off-topic, but Ethan what is your robot raping?

Shadow Fenrir - May 28, 2009 07:15 PM (GMT)
 Nothing, it glitches alot, rarely it works...apparently, shrinking animated stuff down's a bad idea...

Bassetman - May 28, 2009 09:31 PM (GMT)
Maybe it's horomones you're lacking?

But hey, you could be abnormally strong-willed. S'pose it's not impossible.
