Somebody named Andrew Johnson wouldn't have shown up and we all know how bad he was...

It's hard to say what would have happened. It's almost impossible to tell how Lincoln would have reacted during the Post-civil war era. Of course his number one priority was always preserving the union, so I imagine if he would have been reelected to another 4 year term then he would have labeled the KKK a terrorist group on the spot, and would have focused much of his second term dealing with the agression of the south. However you have to remember that John Wilkes Booth's plan wasnt to kill lincoln only to hold him for a set of demands that would force congress to recognize the former confederate states to be a seperate soverign nation. So if he wouldn't have been killed by Booth, he would have been taken hostage, and it would be a good chance that the southern states would be a seperate country.

Well, if I remember anything from school, Lincoln would have been a lot kinder to the southern states following the reformation. With a guiding hand, he would have helped pass more equal laws and fixed several psychelogical problems.
Still, many years later he would be compared to Obama. :)
Oh, and National Treasure II would not have existed.

If Lincoln survived, he'd become a superhero instantly.
If he were never shot, IDK.

Well I think if Lincoln survived, he would have been assassinated by some other southern guy.
