I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself, but this was too good to pass up.

Short Answer: We'd be a British Colony.

granobulax - November 20, 2008 12:48 AM (GMT)
The US would have revolted again and again until independance was attained...

darkender - November 20, 2008 12:54 AM (GMT)
I think they would had continued to fight... :Darkrender:

By "They" do you mean the US or Great Brittain?

The Ripper - November 20, 2008 12:59 AM (GMT)
We would still be a colony, and be considered British, rather than American.

So, you think that after over 200 years, we'd still be a colony?

IF we had lost the Revolutionary war, the British would have most likely imposed even greater taxes on the American Colonies to compensate for losses of the War. Also, we would have been stripped of any kind of militia, or military force, and pretty much all the United States Gun Boats would have gone over to British rule.

I'm still willing to bet you'd have gained independence via peaceful means by now, like India. You wouldn't be the powerful nation you are in reality, however.

Also, with out America as a superpower, we'd all be speaking German/Russian now.
