Unrelated-Game, This isn't a topic for Halo or SW games

Okay so I just saw Sword of the Stars II on steam and I'm thinking about buying it. I was wondering if anyone else has it or the original. Any other space-RTS or other type of game? I'm looking for something with a Total War feel, but maybe with a space-theme or just a very detailed game in general. Thanks.

I don't think the series is very popular. It's like the Total War series, a very underrated game with a smaller community. It's also insanely addictive lol.

Haven't heard of it, but I am looking forward to playing Elder Scrolls Skyrim on my gaming PC, consoles have nowhere near the graphics power of a modern gaming machine.

I played an Oblivion demo once; it was okay, not my knind of game though. I like Mount & Blade. And I hear you there, I'm 100% out of RAM. Honestly though, for an 11 year old computer, mine was built for gaming and it still runs shockingly well for being as old as jesus lmfao.

What other games do you all like?

Well, Halo is a start,but I do like many games like Star Craft, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Dragon Age, Fallout series, Mario, pretty much any game that is fun to play.

True I love StarCraft, and Fallout. The last Mario game I got was Mario 64 in god-knows-when lol, but I liked the original side-scroller games with Mario. I'm more into RTS games now, my favorite being the Total War series. But I do rock some FPS, like CoD (can't wait for MW3), Halo, Half-Life, ect. You play any RTS games, besides SC?

And I know!! XD but I have a lot of games on my comp., and I know some of them wouldn't work as well on a newer computer. Also I'm not really looking to make my parents spend a few thousand on a new computer yet, so I'll wait until this one is literally almost broke before I star looking for a new one :3

Same here, can't wait for MW3 and Halo Anniversary. I do play a few RTS games like Srar Craft 2 (not a fan of paying, just keep renewing through trial codes, lol), Halo Wars and Civilization games. I do play mosty Fallout and Halo though. I love Fallout because of the cool mods.

Oh yeah, Halo is also gonna be live, I forgot about that! lol And I love fallout too, but I rarely use mods for any games. I stick with the vanilla most of the time, mostly because downloading mods is a huge pain, takes forever, and is usually a major disappointment. Some are pretty cool though. I don't have Halo Wars, but I've played it a lot. It's really fun, but they could've made it better. Maybe we should pitch a Halo Wars 2? XD

If they made Halo Wars for PC, that would be win, but it's a console game sadly. Fallout has so many good mods that make the graphics and effects and such much better than vanilla, checkout newvegasnexus.com for tons of cool mods

And yeah, making Halo Wars a console-only game was like, the biggest fail ever by Microsoft. That's why I want Halo Wars 2, on the PC. With a wider range of units and maybe space combat and a sort of galactic campaign type thing, although this really wouldn't be true to the series, it'd still be fun X3

Who knows, with the Spirit of Fire lost in space, it could happen, also with Halo 4, we might encounter the Forerunners or the Precursors and the Halo 4 concept teaser hints a new war perhaps? The mods in Fallout are some of the 100+ I have in game, lol

Yeah we may get a glimpse to see some of the remaining FR tech in action. Also that super-soldier thing that you found on youtube. I think the teaser-trailer for Halo 4 is out already, though I don't feel like looking it up lol. But I mostly wanna play for the re-vamped Halo:CE. That is gonna be BOSS! :D

I saw that teaser already, I hope they release another teaser when Halo: CE Anniversary drops. I can't wait to fight in Battle Creek, one of my all time fav maps.

Yeah lol, mine too. That's the map that's pretty big and has like two bases, right? When's the game supposed to come out?
