I'm thinking it will be more of a street-fight than a pitched battle. Kind of like Halo: ODST.

so sneak around, dont get caught. every few levels someone should post a defcon 1,2,3,4,5. this way once it hits a certain level we can really start the fight, like 3 would be when we find out there her, then 4 would be like we know they have a outpost on the planet. then 5s all out war. so it progresess

Sorry to be rude but DEFCON levels range in severiety from highest number meaning least important which would be 5 and 1 being most severe.

I was gonna say...

Anyway, we can't get this rolling until we know the status of Revan's assessment.

Designing this one as though it were a flagship, I'm not intending on running this thing into combat, and for all intents and purposes it will be my Home Planet...

Once again I hope this is adequate and in the right place...

"Home Ship" of the UNSC Refugees

Name: Exodus
Purpose: Human Mass Migration and Protection Ship
Crew: ~10,000,000 Everything from janitors to officials, and ratings to Officers
Passengers: ~300,000,000 Human

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Type of Ship: Super Large Colony Ship, due to it’s size you'd have to look at it from a distance to get an idea of it, and then it would look more like a rod of metal, covered in bumps and gashes
Size: 12km wide, 14km tall, 80km long

DEFENSIVE CAPABILITIES
Exterior Hull: 50m Titanium-A Armour Plating
Interior Hull: 50m Titanium-A Armour Plating
Shields: Reverse Engineered Covenant Shields, ONI Stealth Bubble Shields, Energy Defusor Shields

OFFENSIVE CAPABILITIES
Main Weapons: 7 Uber MACs placed in three rows of two with one covering forward
Point Defense Systems: 300 Galilean Nonlinear Cannons (upscaled versions of the Spartan Laser)

ENGINE
Number of Engines: 70 Main Thrusters, 40 Auxiliary thrusters, 7 Maneuvering thrusters
Types of Engines: Standard Sublight, Shaw-Fujikawa Translight Engine

OTHER
Special System:
* It utilises Captured Covenant technology to provide the ship with an Energy Shield when it comes under direct attack, as well as Gravity systems to simulate standard 1G without the need for rotating compartments.
* As it functions much like a Colony ship, it has many functions that are similar, such as full-scale factories to produce and repair machinery, equipment, and supplies.
* Since the UNSC is no longer in possession of a Shipyard, the Exodus was made with 20 over large Hangers that can drydock vessels as large as a Marathon-class Cruiser. For larger vessels it has 10 hard point anchorage’s that can repair and resupply ships like Carriers, Super Carriers and even Phoenix Class ships. With enough materials around they can even Build new ships.
* To keep on the move it has an impressive array of resource gathering equipment, complete with hundreds of Pods to ferry equipment and supplies between the ship and whatever planet it is mining, hundreds more automated tugs harvest asteroid fields when ordered. It also has numerous refineries to forge the raw resources into usable materials.
* The ship is so massive that it accidentally creates it’s own gravity well, similar in strength to a small moon.

Hangars: 20 Supermassive hangers for Capitol Ships, 100 regular hangers for support craft and fighters.

Areas of Note: The Exodus is not as cramped as one would think, given that it has to hold and support over 300 million people. only half of the interior is actually ship style layout for the purpose of housing the populous (as cramped as a decent apartment or cruse ship layout), the other areas within the ship are given over to vast hydroponics gardens, industrial factories, fisheries, and even parks for recreations.

Stats on these areas
Ship Cabins: Mostly around, above and below the Parks and Hydroponics, but mostly dominating the aft section.
Hydroponics: 8, 1000 acre triple stacked bays, located over and under the parks.
Factories: These and support industries takes up most of the forward sections of the Exodus.
Parks: 6, 3000 acre, with 1km overhead, located centrally in the core of the ship, they hold different climates, from Taiga to Savanna, and each has a large collections of Wild animals (In large "Natural" Enclosures for the more dangerous species), one park in particular serves as an Ocean Habitat (and fishery) with only a few moderate to small sized rocky islands dotting it's features.
Engines and Powerplants: Dominates the Aft Section...
Main Bridge: Located between the park sections, so one has to cross them to get to the Bridge, for ease of travel an elevated train system is used to ferry personnel to and from the bridge. The Bridge uses Data fees from multiple redundant sensor systems laced all across the surface for the ship, the Control Center is located beneath the Bridge and controls the functions of the civilian portions and day to day events of the ship.

UPGRADES
Shield: Energy Defusor Shields

“In Earth 2150 [video game] and its sequel, the energy weapons introduced late into the war increased casualties significantly on all sides of the conflict. To this end, the Lunar Corporation designed and fielded an energy shield system that was capable of defusing electrical discharges, laser beams, plasma bolts and harmonic resonance waves.”

Unfortunately if this shield is up then no other shield can be operational, as other shields within it’s effect would be shorted out, this shield also doesn’t protect against physical attacks.

This is more of a place for describing a planet, station, place for battles, etc.

What you want to do is place this in the flagship creation topic in the character creation.

It has been done before hasn't it?

Okay Attiles, there are a few proplems.

One - Describe the Location as if you were describing a flagship

Two - List all the weaponry as well as possible, for space stations and battlestations

Three - Which Deathstar? The First or the second?

I designed this "Setting" as more of a Mobile space station, so I described the location like I would a Flagship. I then listed all the weapons, and equipment and went into detail for as much as I could.

Frankly a ship that could hold the population of a large country would have to be big and would violate the rule for ship size, as well a Flagship is a combat vessel while this is a civilian ship (though armed to the teeth) and should be treated more as a Small Mobile World rather than a Flagship.

Dangit, I wasn't logged in for that...

Previous post was mine.

Anyway an addendum to my post is, think of it like a Civilian Migrant Fleet smushed into one big ship...

0915 HOURS, *Classified Date*
UNSC Welcome to Die
*Classified Star System*

"Please be seated." Surgeon said, causing the four Section VII agents to sit in their respective seats at the meeting table. "This meeting is about to begin." Surgeon announced. "As always, this meeting will be recorded and sent to a private databank in a classified location. All attending, please list your codenames. Surgeon."

"Spectra."

"Legion."

"Capone."

There was a brief moment of silence, before Surgeon spoke. "All are present and accounted for. The meeting will now begin." Surgeon straightened up in his seat. "Today, we will discuss who will replace Blueskull, until such a time as he is located, or confirmed KIA. God help him."

Legion shrugged dismissively. "There's no one of sufficient rank or talent under him to consider. I suggest we dismiss his unit, and reassign all forces under him. His action will be split amongst the four of us."

Spectra interjected. "Wait a minute, Legion. We don't even know what's become of him. You're talking as if he's already dead."

"He might as well be." Legion replied. "The planet he escaped to isn't exactly a...friendly place. It reeks of the Dark Side. He may have gotten away from Revan and his forces," The computer beeped, announcing the removal of a name in the recording. "But he's landed in the proverbial fire. Whatever's down there, it's not going let him live for long."

"That doesn't mean we should just give up on him." Spectra countered, visibly upset. "I've known Blake for a long time," The computer beeped. "And one thing I can say for certain, it's that he will do whatever it takes. Besides, he's a SPARTAN now, so his skills should be more than enough to take down any creature that tries to kill him."

"What a cute little imagination you have, Spectra." Legion said, scowling. "You put so much faith in your so-called friend, and you think he'd put the same faith in you? This begs the question how he would get so far in our organisation."

"We're not all backstabbing schutta, Legion!" Spectra yelled indignantly, as she stood. "Yes, we've all done some regrettable things in the past, but everything we do is for the UNSC!"

"That's enough, both of you!" Surgeon said, holding up his hands towards both of them. "Spectra, we're not abandoning Blueskull. But Legion is right. His unit will be reassigned, but not decommissioned. After all, we don't know what's become of him, yet. I will take personal command of his regimen until further notice."

Both Spectra and Legion seemed satisfied with that, as Spectra sat back down, and the tension seemed to ease.

"Moving on." Surgeon continued. "The brass wants to launch a Total War against the Sith alliance. They want us to be pioneers on a direct attack on their economy. As usual, they don't care how we do it."

"Though they would if they knew." Capone said.

"True enough." Surgeon replied. "And funny you should speak up. Capone, I want you to live up to your codename. Infiltrate the Sith territories, and start your own criminal empire."

Capone was taken aback. "Sir? I know you selected me for my...well, less than honest methods of getting things done, but what you're proposing is gonna take time and resources."

Surgeon nodded. "I'm aware of that, Capone. That's why you and your unit are going in. Further, you'll be supported by Legion and his unit."

Legion looked over to Surgeon. "Sir?" He asked, expecting an explanation.

"You and your men know your way around that galaxy, and I have a feeling that you are going to be instrumental in helping Capone. Capone will be officially in charge of this OP. And you, Legion, will provide him support." Surgeon's stare burned holes into the two men. "Is there a problem?"

Capone shrugged, as Legion stared at Surgeon with a smouldering hatred. "No, sir." They both said.

"Good. As for you, Spectra," Surgeon's attention turned to her, as she looked back at him. "Since you're so adamant about locating Blueskull, I'm assigning the task of his search & rescue to you."

Spectra showed no outward emotion, but inside, she was relieved, and one could swear there was a twinkle of hope in her eyes. "Yes, sir. I won't let you down."

"Glad to hear it." Surgeon replied. "I'm giving you command of all the SPARTAN IVs in Blueskull's unit. And Legion, before this meeting is adjourned, can you tell us anything more about the planet?"

Legion thought for a moment. "Blueskull's escape pod crashed onto the surface of the planet. The planet has no name, because it hasn't officially been explored. The UNSC designates it Argus." The computer beeped. "It's a volcanic world, with a few areas that can naturally support life. But it's so wracked with the Dark Side, any natural life will likely be hostile, even mutated to the point where they naturally look demonic. Even the Sith are apprehensive about going there, because it's so feral and unknown."

"How do you know all this?" Spectra asked.

Legion smirked, which made the whole room uneasy. "I have seen it. The Force gave me visions."

Spectra leaned forward, resting on the table. "So, has the Force given you visions of Blueskull himself?"

Legion stared intently at Spectra. "Oh yes. And I assure you. All I see in his future is pain and suffering."

Surgeon cut him off. "That's enough, Legion. Everyone has their orders. This meeting is adjourned. Get to your ships."

A chorus of aye aye, sirs sounded, before each of the agents returned to their vessels.

I'm actually hoping to RP it, at some point.

More specifically, I'm introducing a criminal element to Section VII, as well as a new planet that can only exist when the Halo and Star Wars universes collide.
