So halo 4 is coming out soon, yea masterchiefs back and ready to kill... um watevers trying to kill him. What is he up against in halo 4? cuz didnt he almost completely destroy the covenant and the flood? The only thing i can thing of would be that bungie is making up another enemy or that the forerunners are magically back, or that he goes to onyx

Well, it can't be Onyx, the outer crust of it's been blasted (unless, of course, the Onyx Sentinels rebuilt the planet). It's probably a new enemy.

my guess is it is going to be ether remnants of the forerunners/ or their machines they left behind, or a new flood type threat.

Maybe the threat of the disbanding Covenant, maybe some more FR secrets are unlocked, probably the flood again. Actually, I think this'll be the last Halo, and they'll probably find a way to actually kill the Flood, like they have a secret weakness to lemons or something (probably not that, just an example xD). I'm actually looking forward to it. I didn't like Halo 3 so much, but I loved Halo Reach so I'm looking forward to 4 and also to playing the Halo:CE refit! :D

It seams that halo 4 will be tied closely to the forerunner book saga,

the first quote here seams to state that the book's story is being told to MC by one of the characters from the first book(more likely a durance of him). Halo:_Primordium
