-History-
Hachure Du Royaume… It was always called this name. And it was always because of the great Keepers. In their honor, the land wasn’t just Royaume De Bijou; it was Hachure Du Royaume, the Hatching Kingdom.
Royaume De Bijou was the strongest kingdom of the land. It conquered all of the opponents, but it treated all of its subjects fairly. They had conquered all opposing nations. Of course, this legendary kingdom couldn’t have done it all alone. They had the Keepers.
It was always an honor to become a partner to a hatchling, or a ‘hachure’. You were one of the luckiest citizens in the country. Of course, you had many more responsibilities than others. But it was all worth it in the end.
Until Royaume Mauvias came along, it was always worth it. But the new kingdom wasn’t easily broken. They set up sneak attacks, destroying all the owners of creatures. The creatures soon died after that, because they were bonded to their owners. Destroying one meant destroying the other. And soon, Royaume Mauvias destroyed even the Egg Keepers. All that were left were wild eggs.
Then came the mer-people, establishing their kingdom under the sea, Royaume De l'Eau. What about them? Where do they come from? Why are they here? And what is their mission? Do they seek control as well?
Now two of three kingdoms seek control of the eggs. But they don’t realize that there are two keepers left in the world. After a long and rainy night, two people stumbled upon the last hidden eggs that the keepers left behind. One egg hatched for each of the two.
Now, they invite certain selected young citizens of both countries, as well as weary wanderers, to try their luck as hachures.
Will you be chosen?

-General-
Season Early Autumn
Weather Though the air is still warm, it has a crisp feeling to it as the leaves begin to change color. Slowly some of the migrating birds are leaving their summer homes to make for warmth in southern lands beyond the kingdoms of Hachure Du Royaume. Hybernating creatures are gathering their winter's store.
Unique Weather Patterns
A storm is coming... It's setting everyone and everything on edge. This storm will be unlike any other. A storm of blood... As the sound of the darkness draws closer, things are beginning to change. Take cover for the coming rain. Thunder booming in the distance will become a steady beat until it breaks. The rains that will pour down aren't going to be water. It's going to be blood, sticky and red as it coats everything in the shades of blood. Royaume Mauvais, rejoice. Royaume De Bijou, tremble in fear. Darkness is coming and if you don't act, the Evil Kingdom shall be victorious. The Jewel Kingdom shall be no more. Prepare to fight. Prepare to kill. Spare the innocent, yet destroy all others in your path. The light and darkness are about to combine in fearful ways. And fear is how the world will be ruled. Fear the Shades of Blood...

-Updates-
Amethyst 12/28/08: OMG, I know I haven't been on in a long time, but neither has anyone else, therefore I am going to do a sitewide mass update/deletion period where everything old is deleted. Then I will proceed to email everyone to get their butts back on. And then I will stab someone. -nods- I've made the executive decision to have a 2-3 year timeskip (not sure which, shall be decided, not that it really matters.) There'll be a fairly long topic in the updates all about it, what happened during it, where you can decide stuff (like character death, age, amount of wreckage due to the war, etc.), going on the idea that the war lasted about a year (if two years) or two (if three years) and they're trying to rebuild.
Shade 2/5/08: Hello everyone. Real quick health status, I'm fine. That said.....I'M FREAKING BORED. Someone PLEASE reply to something you lazy widgets!

( I am on a character creatin' spree )
You OoC Name: Mika or Gummi. Gender: Female How long have you been role playing: Long enough but not enough to make me happy. When are you online normally: Often; more so on the weekends because of school
Your Character Name: Lady Andrena Augusta Silikta Age: 17 Gender: Female Species: Human
Family Father: Lord Augustus Veiln Silikta Mother: Lady Printa Seiln Silikta Siblings: An older brother named Foren. Other relations: Guarded by Elize Telsov
Appearance: Her appearance matches well with de Bijou courts. Her hair is a light blonde that curls naturally down to her waist. She often wears hair pieces to put her hair up so she can walk around outside without having to worry about the back of her neck become sweaty and her hair won’t catch on any type of branch. Her eyes are a light sky blue that seem almost gray at a distance that reflect her emotions, making it hard for her to lie or mask up her feelings. Her eyes seem rather round and large, giving her some sense of innocence that still shows her child-like attitude towards topics like marriage, men, and having children. Her wardrobe consists of dresses that are all over the color spectrum from royal purples and sky blues for important house events back in de Bijou to emerald green and black for a recent party in Mauvais. The type of dress also changes from more tailored down dresses for funerals and dresses around the house to lacey and more ribbon decorations for balls and parties.
Personality: Though most court women would remain quiet and try to remain unseen until others spoke to them, Andrena is quite different. Quite an extrovert, she often runs up to groups during parties and starts talking if she hears them talk about a topic that interest her. It’s quite uncommon for her to be interested in politics involving royal houses and weddings since she would rather talk about hunting or ships. If she finds nothing to talk about that interests her in a group, she often leaves without a excusing herself. Sometimes she doesn’t interact at all and simply reads a book she might manage to slip into one of the more volume us layers of her dresses or sleeves if the book is small enough. She loves being praised and will cry if she’s scolded severely at or yelled at. She tries to appease others at all costs and will try to form to whoever’s view in a moment’s notice. She is still naïve in the sense of not having experienced others things court men and women do on a regular basis such as leisure sports or the drinking or wine or spirits.
History: Born into the second most powerful nobility House in de Bjou, Andrena was introduced early on the ways of the court. Of course, she was more interested with running around the house and hiding from servants and parents and exploring the stream that ran through the house gardens than actually learning proper table manners. Yet, with her father punishing her more severely each time she was caught doing something he didn’t like, she learned to behave and obey her parents. She tried her best to please her parents, but while she pleased her mother nothing she did ever suited her father. Eventually, he announced to her on her sixteenth birthday that he and her mother had picked a suitor out for her to wed on her seventeenth birthday. To her own horror, she soon met her future husband to find out he wasn’t exactly what one would call kind and gentlemanly. It wasn’t uncommon he would suddenly abandon her to talk to other women and ignore her by drinking wine with friends. She was unable to convince her parents to call off the wedding and seemed doomed to marry him. On one of the last balls left before her birthday, soldiers ambushed her coach from Royaume Mauvais and she was taken prisoner. For three weeks she was kept in a small tent in a Mauvais soldier camp for prisoner negotiations before a black coach came to take her back to Royaume Mauvais because an agreement satisfying both sides had failed miserably. House Doulatti, the most prominent house in Royaume Mauvais now takes care of her, teaching her the ways of Mauvais court politics.
Example Role Play: The jostling of the coach kept her up, cursing her with time to reflect on her current situation. She no longer cared with how torn the ribbon decorations on her dress were or how greasy and tangled her hair was. She could only try to wipe away the tears that fell down her grimy face. Why hadn’t her parents saved her? Was her father unhappy with her at the last discussion they had had before she left for the party that had involved her begging her father to reconsider the marriage one last time before heading off to her final ball as a single lady. Of course, her father refused and sent her off without saying goodbye. But, she had other, more important things to worry about. Like the fact she was heading to Royaume Mauvais and to the very heart of the country. She didn’t know what she was expecting, but she feared the worst for herself. Would they torture her for information towards how de Bijou worked? Would she simply be executed as an example to de Bijou? She wiped the tears rolling down her cheeks to stop reminding her of the grim on her face. No, they wouldn’t kill her. She was too important for them to just kill her; she shouldn’t be so fearful. The coach stopped, almost sending her forward onto the floor. She heard the driver calling to the horses as he stepped off the coach. The door opened, letting her see the lanky butler that held the door open and waiting patiently for her. He opened his mouth and spoke formally to her, suprising her with regards that Mauvais wasn’t simply a barbaric country. “Lady Andrena Augusta Silikta of the House Silikta from the country of Royaume de Bijou, House Doulatti of the country of Royaume Mauvais welcomes you. You will find any need you have promptly accommodated for. I am one of the many servants who will attend to your needs while you stay at House Doulatti. I believe the first order to be attended to be your bath and fresh clothing. We have been able to prepare for your arrival in advance and the Lord and Lady wish that everything is found to your liking.” She stared at him for a moment before giving her hand to him as he neatly helped her out of the carriage. She looked up at the building that was House Doulatti and was impressed by the size and outer beauty it possessed. Her thoughts drowned out the butler and his talk about receiving a guard to watch. Maybe, just maybe, this was the chance at being free from the restraint of her parents.
