Dear Members

As some of you might have noticed the Monroe IC Chat has been temporarily removed from the board. We found that it was causing quite a few problems including God Moding, major plots being played out and people not bothering to post, instead playing in the chat.
The chat was set up just to be a fun way to get to know other Monroe students and instead turned into a place where players spent more time than they did posting - not the point of the board at all. Major plots were being played out through one line dialogue rather than advanced writing - something we pride ourselves on.
This is not the first time that we have removed the chat for these reasons and we decided to try again but it seems inevitable that this happens.
It is possible that we will reinstate the chat at some time in the future if these problems can be resolved but at the moment, we have made the decision to take it down.

As of today, we have decided to bring back the chat forum on a temporary basis.

If however, it transpires that once again major plots are being played out in this forum or that people are not posting because of its presence, we will remove it again.

Anyway, its back now and please enjoy!

Many of you have been missing the IC chat feature. We apologize for the extended delay. The server issues were not under our control, and the staff had been working behind the scenes to find a suitable replacement.

We're happy to report that the service is now back online and the room has been linked back on the board. No need to re-register. All your previous names and passwords should be saved and ready to go. Happy chatting.
