Title: First Class...Lesson #1

Anya Maison - March 18, 2008 07:05 AM (GMT)
Anya stood by the weapons cage she needed for her first class an hour prior to class. She placed the magazine on the ork bench as she cleaned the rifle in her hand. She had cleaned them at the end of the year, but that was three months ago and guns can freeze up from the littlest part of dirt or dust, and being unused for three months could also do some damage.

Before arriving at the range, Anya had made a quick stop to her cottage to change. She was now in beige cargo pants, a simple black tee, combat boots and one wrist band around her right wrist.
She looked at her watch and missed the thin gold banded watch she wore when her classes were inside or she was not teaching, it was so much lighter on her arm then the big thing she wore now.

She was skeptical about her new students, last year she noticed she had to push hard, very hard when it came to disciplining her students minds, for them to wait it out like you had to when you're a sniper. A lot of them got nervous, and started chatting away with each, they always had to be reminded that there would be no one with them. They were alone.

Christine Helen - March 18, 2008 11:34 PM (GMT)
Christine Helen stuffed her long blond hair in a tight pony as she headed down to her first class. She knew she was early but if she had learned anything from last year it was to never arrive late, so she decided that early was better than late, well in the situation she was in now anyways.

She sighed heavily. She hadn't touched a fire arm since before summer started and she almost felt as if she had forgotten everything she had learned from the previous year. Let's hope I didn't the young woman thought before noticing one of the instructors at the weapons cage. She remembered her from the previous presentation as well as last year. It was odd though. The instructor probably hadn't a clue who she was anymore. Helen smiled.

The distance between the teacher and student closed in. Christine's heels of her boots could be heard as she took each step down the stone and brick pathway. It was one of those days which she didn't mind wearing a tight jumpsuit. The sun was shining but to her amazment was not blistering hot out. It also wasn't that hot as her top piece was sleeveless.

"Hello," the blond said as she finally made it to the instructor's side.

Anya Maison - March 19, 2008 08:33 AM (GMT)
Anya heard footstep from a far but continued cleaning the gun she'd use for the first day demonstrations, she'd hate to embarass herself by allowing her gun to freeze up on her; not a good way to start the year.

"Hello."

Anya heard the young blonde's greeting and turned to face her with a smile. "Hey Christine," Anya replied, while her first student was early she didn't mind, it gave Anya a chance to catch up with a returning student because first days with all new people made Anya nervous.

"How was your break?"

How was your break?

"I can't complain," she sighed then continued. "All I did was lay on the beach in Cuba," Helen giggled. "Although at times it did get boring and I burned like toast," she lifted her arm, "Although the burn is pretty much gone now though," Christine always hated getting burned. With her blond hair she didn't look too attractive with a red face.

"So are we going to be using these today?" she asked. She was excited to get back into the firing stage. Going how many months without it was like a baby without their bottle. Then she realized that they were probably going to go over the rules and all before even considering touching the beauties. She hoped the girls wouldn't scream in terror like last year. Last year all she was able to hear was the screeching sound of teenage girls. Such an annoying sound.

"I can't complain," "All I did was lay on the beach in Cuba," "Although at times it did get boring and I burned like toast," "Although the burn is pretty much gone now though,"

Anya nodded as she listened to Christine, she rememberedd the days when she would lay in the sun for hours tanning. Although sh hd stopped before she left Miami, she sometimes craved the need to lie in the sun and relax.

"So are we going to be using these today?"

Anya nodded, they were using them, but not as much as she'd like. They would only be learning the basic ground rules, how to load and unload then, safety precautions, and how to clean them, she doubted their would be any time to learn how to use them.

"I hope to get through all the usual grabble quickly, but unfortunately preventing the newbies from shooting themselves has to be done." Anya replied with a wink, it would not be all the funny if one of them did get shot but thankfully that would never happen. And because she was good at giving basic instructions none of them every would shoot themselves or someone else unless they were paid too.

"I'm going to need some help with the newer student, you up for it?"
