Every RPG board must have its own set of rules. These are fairly simple to follow, and are really the usual rules you might come across on another board.


Basic IC & OOC Rules:

1) Before you can post anywhere on the board as a character of your creation, you must have submitted a character profile and been accepted. If you post anywhere on the board in character before you have been accepted, then your post will be deleted and so will your character.

2) You will be limited to up to four characters. Having said that, I suggest working and playing with a single character and seeing if having more than one is possible for you. Everyone has their own real life (including the staff) and have other responsibilities to take care of and deal with. If you want two characters but have to deal with a huge course load at school and work part-time, take some time to see the demands involved with this site and to see how much time you are able to be on-line as your character.

3) When posting, you cannot post a single line or paragraph. This is a site for serious and intermediate to advanced RPers only. You will be warned if you continue to post too little, and we ask that you make each post at least two good paragraphs long. AT LEAST.

4) When registering an account for your character, you must have a full name. Once you decide to submit a character profile, it must be under your character's full name. You must use both a first and last name. Also, before you register a name, check to see if another member has this name. You should not use a name that is already taken.

5) There is a difference between posting adult content and posting inappropriate content. Be reasonable when you post. If your character is about to have sex, which I'm sure some will, you can be descriptive but do not push the boundary and start writing erotica. There will be members of all different ages, and it wouldn’t' be fair to ruin a thread for someone else.

If you are going to post very adult content, please make an out of character warning at the top of the thread, or even in the topic description line.

6) The Mod and Admin team reserve any and all rights to ban your character or account from the board if they see fit. There will be sufficient enough warning before this will occur, so you will be warned.

7) No hateful, racist, sexist or hurtful comments/images/links will be tolerated. I don't care if you think it's a joke, it will NOT be allowed here. This is a community for people from all over the world and making ignorant comments that could hurt someone will be deleted and you will be banned from the site. If you find that you have an issue with someone on the board, do not send them hateful PM's, message an Admin or Mod and let them know what went on.

8) No god-modding. For those of you who may not understand this, it basically means you are not allowed to post for other characters, kill/maim/hurt other characters without their written consent. You cannot post actions or words for other character without their consent. Basically, play your own character and no one else’s. Also, if you go into combat with a character, both willingly, your character is going to sustain some damage. They are not invincible. Let's try and be as realistic as we can about what your character can or cannot do.

9) There is no such thing as a perfect person, therefore, there is no such thing as a perfect character. When submitting a character profile, please make sure to mention flaws they may have. .the secret code is la tua cantante. If you submit a character that is perfect in all ways (beautiful, kind, smart, strong, brave) then they will be denied.

10) You are not allowed to post anywhere in this board (unless otherwise explained) until your character has been accepted. Guests can posts in the Advertising forum, and new members can post their application and in specific OOC forums. You cannot, however, start posting as your character until you have been accepted.

11) Here's where the fun begins...Once your character HAS been accepted by an Admin and moved into the Character Archives, you may start posting right away! We do require however that you create a Relationship Plot for your character and post it in the Plots thread. This is a fun and easy way for your character to make new friends and get plots started with other characters here at G&C.

11) No Spam. This is not a rule that can be easily bent or broken. All spam, such as graphics, testing or advertisements have specific forums just for them.
