Eragon - The Basics

Okay, this movie feels like one big missed opportunity to me. It's too short, for one thing. And Garrett's barely in it - I think he has less than ten minutes of screen time. It doesn't even make sense for him to be in it such a short amount of time. His character is in the bulk of the novel and plays an important role, both in Eragon and in the sequel, Eldest.

Alright, end of rant, lol. Garrett plays Murtagh, a mysterious loner who befriends Eragon and fights at his side during the climactic battle. Plus he has dark hair and looks really good in leather .

He was the reason I didn't walk out of the cinema. I had no idea who he was when I first watched it and was really surprised when I started getting into Garrett --that sounded wrong-- to realise who he was.

It sounds wrong, but it's so, so right. LOL

I personally didn't mind Eragon. It was cute. It got hot when Murtagh showed up. Then, of course, you know how I feel about that brief shirtless muppet/low slung leather pants moment. Momentary lapse of reason, really, but when I see sexy hip bones in low slung leather I just can't help myself!!!

Now ... how do we get Garrett in low slung leather and shirtless?? Can we recommend a photo shoot or something? I have a really nice camera. And a webcam. Yeah. Mmm hmmm ....

Elizabeth ... who are you???

PS It totally DOES make sense for him to be in any movie, even for only a second. He is what makes it shine!!!
