More lessons:

- The more I watch this film I have to say sadly that I like it because only because ofGarrett and the parking garage scene.
- Wan seems like an awfully nice, cool person to work with but his sense of directing, it's limited for a very small demographic.
-I do get now why a lot of ppl were turned on by the perceived shift in gears of the movie (e.g. drama, an exploration of vengance into full gore). I'm ok with it but so many ppl can't get passed it.
- LOVED Garrett as a villain, so convincing.

I'll admit being more than a little disappointed with the film as a whole. Obviously I watched it for Garrett, so was a little put out at the lack of Billy scenes - he was the most interesting character in the story and I would much rather have gone deeper into the gang and his story. Nothing to do with his sexiness of course...

Bacon annoyed me throughout. I was actually happy when the family got shot up, apart from the youngest brother Lucas. I felt a liking to his angst and wanted Billy to take him under his wing, the ultimate revenge!

I want a prequel. Or sequel. With all Billy. I'll direct it - all you need is big bangs and slow motion Billy.

KevinS..... Well, at times he did as expected but some parts, it was like he phoned in his performance.

I know I'm totally impartial cuz of Garrett but the gang was far more interesting than the family.

A prequel would be sweet (by another director) cuz I love Billy but I'm gonna have to demand that Billy shower scene! You can add your slow motion in it!! ha ha

I do have to say the movie had a cool soundtrack and Garrett did beautifully in the end....

I loved the part at the end with them sitting together, and how calm Billy is, but when it cut off I was like NOOO!

Slow motion Billy in a shower? Done.

As a media geek, I loved the whole 'one shot sequence' thing, but I think the film skimmed past the interesting bits.

Something I learned from DS? Billy's diiirty and needs a shower...

They really had some missed opportunities there where they could have explored some interesting things.

Yeah the 12 minute (?) one shot sequence is the centerpiece of that movie. And the moment on the bench in the end.....

Bring on the Billy shower scene!!
