Stralock - Land of Requiem & Roucin

[Kaine]

Kaine panted as he travelled hustly along the side of the giant canyon. He walked right on the edge - such was his type of entertainment. A rock slipped, but he was far off the edge before he could've been touched by gravity's deathly hold. Kaine looked unbelievingly at the crumbling edge and laughed, immediately entertaining himself by jumping from one side of the canyon to the other where it was at it's thinnest. The wolf was a wine and cream blur as he flew through the air in short bursts. For a second, Kaine tripped and he slid back, but he sunk his claws into the dirt, level ground, and pulled himself up.

"Well, it's no fun without someone to push," he said softly, looking as more rocks fell into the dark abyss.

[Rerkiel]

Rerkiel slowly padded aroung 15 feet away from the canyon. His emerald orbs glancing around him every so often. The rays of the sun warmed him up in the cool weather. His nares picked up the scent of another wolf. His auds perked up and listened for the newcomer. He heard the stones falling into the canyon and turned around quickly, he looked around and saw another wolf a little ways off. He walked towards Kaine and stopped a few feet away. "I see you're having fun." he mumbled and held his skull and plume up in dominence.

[Kaine]

Kaine looked to the new brute, his sparkling eyes filled with excitement.

"Well, that depends on what you see as fun. I could just be a failure at suicide."

Kaine laughed and trotted towards Rerkiel. He squinted and stared at Rerkiel with a dull look on his face. Kaine began laughing and turned around, starting to jump over the gap again, this time at a much wider spot.

[Rerkiel]

Rerkiel stood there with a small smirk on his face. "Whatever you say..." he mumbled and watched the brute jump over to the other side of the canyon. Rerkiel sat his rump down on the ground and glanced down at the bottom of the canyon, he saw a small rodent running through. His orbs wandered back to where the newcomer was. "If you don't mind me asking, what's your name?" His eyes staring at Kaine.

[Kaine]

Kaine stopped and landed on Rerkiel's side again, looking at the curious brute with impatient eyes.

"Kaine. I kill," he said, his voice calm and filled with simplicity.

"Who the hell are you, and why should I care?"

[Chatoyer]

ooc:Hope you don't mind if I join in?

bic: Golden eyes scanning her surroundings, Chatoyer walked aimlessly, taking in all that she could see. She had never been to such a place. Ofcourse, she had not been travelling all that long, she had met others who had walked for many more years than her, but she couldn't remember ever visiting such a place.

Her auds suddenly caught the sound of stones falling and the voices of two of her kind in conversation. Glancing around she caught site of the two wolves. Curiosity, as usual, getting the better of her, she made her way over to them.

"Hello there," she called out to them, walking right up to the edge of the canyon, suddenly realising she was on the edge of quite a deep drop and quickly backing a good few feet away. She hoped her behaviour around heights did not seem odd.

[Rerkiel]

Rerkiel smirked. "Who the hell am I you ask. Well I'm Rerkiel, or as some call me, Blood paw. I am the cro of Retujj, there are two other cro's and one cra that live on these lands of Gantos." He said staring at the brute.

His auds picked up the sound of another wolf speaking. Turning his head he saw a fea not far off from them. "Hello there." He said in a kind voice, picking his backend off the ground, his eyes glanced back at Kaine. He slowly padded towards the female lenr. "Welcome to these lands." He said holding his plume up showing his rank. "As I said just a few seconds ago I am Rerkiel, leader of the Retujj pack." He said and bowed his head slightly.

[Chatoyer]

She smiled at his kind words and returned his bow, bowing her head far more deeply as to show respect for his rank.

"I thankyou for thine welcome, Rerkiel."she said politely."I am Chatoyer, but thou mayst address me by the name of Shimmer."
She turned her crania to look at Kaine.

"What name is it that thee go by?"she asked him.

[Kaine]

"Well, I'm used to being called 'bastard', but, uh, Kaine will do."

The brute smiled coyly and began trotting around the two boredly. He let out a drawn-out sigh and stopped, looking at the ground before he carried himself to the edge of the canyon and looked down. Kaine teetered on the edge, a glazed look on his eyes before his first paw slipped. Rock one slipped, and then the next hundreds follow, bringing a surprisingly calm Kaine down with them. There was a light splash in the darkness, followed by the loud echo of the rocks hitting the ground.

[Rerkiel]

Rerkiel turned quickly and took a few steps forward after Kaine but he stopped and inched back as the rocks kept on crumbling inward. His eyes widened as he ran a little further down the canyon till he found a somewhat sturdy piece of land to stand on. He looked into the crevise eyes darting, looking for the wolf. "Kaine!" He called out over the edge and scooted back from the edge, it was crumbling a little. He glanced over at Shimmer then back at the canyon infront of him. His heart racing.

[Kaine]

Kaine pushed a large boulder off easily, the sound of stone scraping against stone. The massive wolf shrugged his heavy shoulders and another rock came tumbling into a pile. He looked up and began his slow and sturdy climb, easily finding ledges to jump onto.

[Rerkiel]

Rerkiel auds picked up the sounds of stones rolling off the pile. He walked towards the edge of the canyon carefully. His head peered down into the depths of the land below him. Just to his right he saw Kaine making his way back up the canyon. His heart slowed to it's normal pace and he turned and padded over to Shimmer, waiting for Kaine to pull himself up onto the solid ground.

[Kaine]

Kaine sighed heavily and set his fourth paw on the ground, only a few feet away from Rerkiel.

"That was not what I expected. I broke a rib for nothing," the wolf said, examining a bulge in his blood-soaked side. Kaine shook his head and shook his bangs out of his eyes before sitting down and gnawing on a rather itchy leg.

[Rerkiel]

Rerkiel looked at his blood covered side. He stood there silent for a while then he looked at Shimmer then at Kaine. "I think you should both join my pack." He said keeping his eyes on the blood. "Do you think you can walk for a while?" He asked Kaine.

[Chatoyer]

Shimmer had stood in terrified silence when Kaine had fallen but was relieved when he had emerged. She was horrified though, when she caught sight of his injury and was filled with concern. She wondered if she should help him but then heard him speak, brushing off his injuries with humour.

Then Rerkiel spoke. Although happy at his suggestion that they should join his pack the main concern at the moment was Kaine. She turned to look at him.

"Could I be of any assistance?" she asked. Then turning to Rerkiel,"One does enjoy the freedom of being a loner, but...I would gladly accept a place in thy pack."
