Yes, there has been a torrent of autobot (.. Let me rephrase that, "Decepticon!") spammers.. amazingly from the same network. Geniuses couldn't even think to use a proxy or anything.
Either way, the IP address 180.246.107.8, from whence all the Decepticons came is now added to the IP filter of the boards. If there's ever a problem, I'm just going to swing my mighty banhammer that-a-way and not worry with the mildly humorous and ego-boosting account suspension notification posts. Though I won't post it, I've also given the 4750 treatment to the other accounts under that IP address. Just in case. I think it's comforting to know that even after we and our kids' kids' kids' kids' great-grand kids' seventh generations' kids are dusted, there's still going to be some data lingering around from these boards in the year 4750. That's totally my new legacy. I'm going to have, "4750" printed on a coat of arms for my future family. --------------------   I've got multiple personalities. What of them? |
