Lurking on here today as opposed to sitting with the dragon lady (mum in law).

Over the last few weeks I have been gallivanting across the country (with a bloody heavy A1 portfolio) having interviews for Universities.
On 28th April traveled to Dundee, Scotland. It took me 12 hours on the coach but I had my mp3 player and sketchbook for company so it wasn't too bad. I stayed the night and I had an interview to do the BA (hons) Computer Arts course at the University of Abertay Dundee on the 29th. The interview went really well and the bloke that interviewed me was really nice and liked my work. After I had seen the Uni and had been to various different talks I had about three hours till my coach home come so I had a look around Dundee. It's a nice city with some amazing architecture. It also has a Disney Store!! LOL. After traveling back that evening and getting home at 9:00am the next morning I got some much deserved rest. Later I checked the UCAS website to see if I had an offer and I did. The offer that I received was conditional that I passed my current course in June (which I'm on track for doing(only 3 week till I have to hand in all my work!)). Today I accepted the offer!! As of this moment I will be going to Uni in September (if I pass the course I'm doing now that is). I feel strange. A strange mix of anticipation, worry and excitement. I know it will be alot of work but I also know that I will try my hardest and have some fun too . Now all I have to do is sort out student loans, bursaries, accommodation etc etc [sarcastic]FUN![/sarcastic] -------------------- "I'm only here because the dust museum wasn't open."

Congrats I'm still waiting for my A level results (20th August I believe is results day). As long as I get my grades I should be going off to Uni in Luton to do Media Production. Already got Student Finance and Accomodation sorted  |
