She could hear the werewolf tear into a group of men as she clung to his back. She was surprised he was having such an easy time. There was wet tearing, and savage sounding dripping and smacking noises coming from close in front of him. He spoke to her then, she knew anyone willing to turn around and rush them probably wasn't a man of standing. Ryudo was a good fighter, but it would still take some work to take down someone with any type of skill.
The sounds around them quieted and Ryudo twisted trying to get a look at her. He lowered to the floor and she tried to quickly disengage herself. Unsure what to expect her muscles seemed to release and she fell in a pile on the floor, thankfully it was only a few inches. Her arms and legs were a bit wobbly, but she was completely intact. She looked down at her pants and boots that were dyed red, with spots of gore. He apologised, and she just shook her head, the action breaking her concentration and stretched herself up off the ground. " Thankyou."
With a few pushes from Ryudo, they were on the move again. They walked on down the empty hallway until they ran into a few more guards. It seemed as though Ryudo had a plan of sorts, as he kept leading them around corners. She pulled her knives but Ryudo cut down the opposers rather quickly. When all were down, he led them into another room.
There was a strange dark haired girl chained in the middle of the room, Nena held her blades forward, it could be a trap. Ryudo however had other ideas, he said Tanith. She squinted her eyes, it was Tanith! A Tanith with black hair and brown eyes, she looked unnatural. As Ryudo approached her more closely she kept her distance. Who knew what they had imbued in those chains to change her so drastically. The Tanith she knew wouldn't have sat there unless she was forced, and by the look of her there was no doubt in Nena's mind. Nena was surprised when she spoke, but didn't say anything. She didn't want her presence known in this unfamiliar place.
Ryudo turned to her then, telling her she would need a place to hide. She looked up and around the room, but she hadn't moved when she heard another group of people making it down the hallway, she moved to just behind the door. She held her knives in front of her, crouched forward for the attack, but the head that appeared before her was the teal headed Brecca and not some unknown thief. He walked directly forward to Tanith, but seemed almost confused about who she was.
Actually, he seemed a little off all over the place. She watched him closely but nonchalantly as though her eyes just happened over him as she was lost in thought. Tanith however had started to get edgy, but she didn't know what to do for the girl. She quickly however tired herself out, her voice growing weak and tired unlike Nena had ever heard before. " What are we going to do?" She turned to Brecca first, then Ryudo, and finally to Joseph. " Do you know how to get her out?" She didn't ask the question directly to anyone, she'd never seen an enchanted item like this.
