Ryudo smashed the vampires twisted face against the rock wall with enoutgh force to smash the vile cereatures brain all over the rough surface. With his other hand he lashed out with his sharp claws tearing rotten guts out from the next one who decided to attack. This was it, the lair of evil bloodsuckers that had been terrorizing the town nearby. After days of searching and interrogation the Werewolf search party had stumbled across the lair almost without knowing it.
The Wulf clan had been quick to send their finest out to aid Ryudo in the slaughter which had begun only a matter of hours ago. The foolish vampires underestimated the Wulf-clans fighters sending only newly turned whelps to somply die on the claws of the Werewolf raiding force.
Ryudo lashed out and grasped a youngling vampire by the throat and roared into its pale face. It had once been a pretty young girl, taken from her home and turned into a undying whore to only serve her Overlord. Ryudo wrenched the pitiful girls mouth wide open and took joy in listening to her lipless cries as he ripped out her fangs.
Without a word Ryudo smashed his other palm into the vampires skull sending blood, brain and bone everywhere.
Hundereds of Vampires lay still in the dirt and not a single Werewolf raider had fallen. In unison the werewolves howled with laughter before rushing into the breach.
"Whitetail." Ryudo said to a female Were as he and the group bounded down the rock tunnel.
"What kind of resistance should we expect?"
"The castle where they hold the Alchemist is ahead of us, the path leads there. We suspect that the Overlord is keeping the elite of his forces there along with the Alchemist."
The female said with great confidence
"Do we know wether or not the Alchemist works for the Vampire of his own will or is he forced to?"
Whitetail shook her head.
"That much is unkown, we must assume that he is very much hostile."
Ryudo grinned wickedly as he saw a light up head and it spread even further to the corners of his wolf like face as the gap soon filled up with shadows of the vampires he was yet to kill with delight.
The once mighty Vampire Overlord named Ritainus Vousáid now cowered in the corner of his vast throne room. His armour was torn, and rent asunder and his minions and lackeys lay dead throughout his castle that had stood under his command for a thousand years. It was all gone now, burning and collasping around him.
All he had wanted was to live in peace with his family and retainers and feed on the cattle down below in the town. But it had all gone to hell once the Werewolf set up camp. They had to resort to finding other ways of sustaining their way of life. Abducting the Alchemist and forcing his to create potions to extend their undying lives without the aid of mortal blood. But it was taking too long, each hunt for sustinance that sallied into the town and surrounding cities the Were culled more of his minions number to the point of extermination.
Not the Werewolf who he had seen begin the Brutal campaign against him stoon in the room before him, soaked in blood and gore with a murderous grin on its face. As if its claws and teeth were not bad enough this one carried a Blade of huge proportions thatlike its wielder was soaked in dark blood. it was this Werewolf who had stirred up the townspeople below into a angry mob which now dragged his spies in the town to their deaths on spikes and and fire.
The brute stepped closer and pointed the glaive at Ritainus. The act caused the Vamire to flinch like a scared child about to be scolded by its parent.
"Tell me what you know of the beast dead one, Your cattle call it 'furiour'."
The creature asked.
"I may spare your undead life if you answer."
The beast? Ritainus thought. Then he remembered seeing it, a massive beast, a demon with burning skin and eyes of flame that took the form of a wolfman. He had seen it on a hunt in the forest several days ago before the Werewolves arrived he had seen the creature go east with relif that it did not encroach on his own hunting grounds.
"I saw it head east!" The vampire cried. "Is that why you came here and ruined everything? Just to ask directions?"
In one movment faster than any eye could see the blade the Werewolf carried was shoven through the vampires chest, impaling him against the wall of his throne room. In the moments of unlife the vampire had he saw the bestial visage of Ryudo looking into his eyes.
"For that, and the reason that i shall not allow a single one of your kind to live while i draw breath."
With that, Ryudo withdrew his glaive from the vampire chest and swung it in a crimson arch. Severing Ritainus's head from his armoured shoulders.
Ryudo picked up the lifeless head of the Vampire and grinned as he plucked out the long fangs.
"The weapon you used to take life will sustain me in my battles to come vampire. Take heart in that and i will greet you in hell once i am finished."
Ryudo's sensitive ears picked up a sound abouve the roar of the fires that were consuming the castle. It was an explosion coming from blow, a few floors down. He gripped the dead vampires head by the hair and bounded out of the throne room before the roof collased inward. As Ryudo passed room after room on his way to where he heard the explosion he paused at one open door. Inside the room was a chamber filled with Alchemic tubes and canisters, ingrediants and paperwork. This must have been where the Alchemist was kept prisoner, Ryudo thought as he thumbed his way through some odd looking papers on the crude wooden desk. The writer had not left a name but it was obvious to Ryudo that somthing sinister had been going on in this room.
Once again he heard an explosion followed by nearby footsteps and once again Ryduo was in persuit. At the end of a long corridor he could see a human battling a vampire the other werewolves had missed. In a matter of moments the vampire was set aflame and the human bolted off around the corner. Ryudo gave chase as quickly as he could but as he rounded the bend he heard the smashing of glass. Leaping over the charred remains of the vampire he skidded to a halt at a smashed window. He looked out over the battlefield below only to see the human he had chased limp off into the treeline.
Ryudo was too late and it would take at least an hour or two to gather a search party to hunt down the human. He sighed, it mattered little. The Alchemist was nothing without his apparatus and if he was willing to turn on his former masters with his own potions then he was probably not going to be of harm to any innocents.
"Good luck." Ryudo whispered as he too jumped from the Window just before the entire castle went up in spectacular flames. The werewolf began his search afresh as he dissapeared into the woods, headin east as the Vampire had said.
There wasnt a moment to loose.

I got quite bored! I wonder who that human could have been that Ryudo was chasing?
I wasn sure how long before the main story Brecca's introduction post was set. But as he mentioned the Wulf clan i couldnt help but make have Ryudo lead the attack on the vampire lair. Imagine if Brecca hadnt had a head start!
