THESE ARE THE RULES
Not everyone likes rules, but here at Heaven's A Lie, we have 'em, just like everyone else! So, read 'em, understand 'em, and live by 'em while on this site! it just makes everyone's life easier! Thank you, and enjoy your stay!
•a little thing called REGISTRATION
Registerwith first, middle, last all in CAPS! Once you've done that, be sure to post your application, as well as face claim, and other sign ups if you choose! Then you're good to go!
• everything needs a RATING
Listen up! The rating of this site is mature! Yes, that means sex, drugs, etc can be roleplayed. No, that doesn't mean every single member on the board can be a drug addict or pregnant all the time. Please use good taste while role-playing, and if you're role-playing a mature subject matter, please place an [m] on your thread accordingly! Just because we allow it, doesn't mean everyone wants to stumble upon it by accident! As for the cbox, please keep that PG 13. We don't want guests stumbling upon us during awkward ICC chat now do we?
• all about theWORD PLAY
Now, we, the staff, are not about to impose limits on how many words you post. Because we know (trust me, we do) how ridiculously aggravating it is to make a post you really like, just to realize it doesn't fit the minimum limit for the site.
However, we will say one thing. We would like it if you posted at least two good paragraphs per post, please! For the purpose of good role-play etiquette. We'd like your fellow handlers to have somethingto reply to.
• information for CHARACTER CREATION
While we won't impose a limit on posts, we will impose a limit on characters. We know how easy it is to get carried away with creations. Limit of characters
per member is five. That consists of a max of 3 canons per person. Got it? Besides, five is a good number, and we don't want one person hogging all the face claims when the character is rarely active! It's unfair to everyone else. That being said, we also don't want the male/female ratio to be ridiculous. There is no requirements for your characters there, but please consider the current ratio when deciding which one you want to make. Besides, if we have way more girls, it's less fun for the boys!
ALSO! Sam and Dean are officially off limits as far as marraige goes. Im not about to tie these boys down with wives. That's just silly. They can't do half of the stuff they can do now if they are married and have families. After all, that's the whole point of the show right?Now this doesn't exclude them from relationships all together. They're still allowed to have lady friends but only casually. Nothing serious that they would have to commit to for a long time period.
