okay guys which is your favorite game out of the series, discuss why.
personally, I have to go with number seven. Some may consider it easier than other FEs but it's got enough challenge to keep people interested. I found pretty much every character likable, good and evil, even the minor ones (BATTA DA BEAST). Dorcas was my favorite unit overall. who cares about Ike, Dorcas fights for his wife as well as his hoes Vaida and Farina 'cause you already know this ultra mega pimp deluxe axed his way into their hearts with his manly man power. As for the story, I liked it better than the others. Lyn's story was a bit meh, but whatever, tutorials. the main story was nice. "Okay Tactic boy, you beat some old guy but now are you ready to go against a guy who has lived hundreds of years, can steal people's life force, and is planning on ruling the world with dark magic? you bet you are." Eliwood's dad produced manly tears, ninian... not so much, not sure why. the last boss caught me off guard, I was expecting Nergal to eat a dragon sandwich while you fight the morphs but I guess he was too much of an lazy ass. The badguys... I'm always a badboy fan. I found Nergal to be a good baddy, he definitely has a more threatening atmosphere than Lyon, Ashnard, or Zephiel. Who's got the balls the say "I can control dragons and I'm gonna eat one later"? Another villain I'd like to point out is Sonia, goddamn what a delicious slut of a villain. Her end made me feel bad, sure she was evil but she didn't even know what the hell she was until Limstella or Nergal tells her. Last baddy I gotta mention is of course Denning. I think Nergal started getting lazy with his creations after a while but this just made the guy more awesome. I wonder if he was like a recorder thing, so like whenever he got to the actual quote, it was Nergal's voice. Shit would have been SO cash. -------------------- |

FE7, since it's so far the only one I've actually played through. However, I'm in love with Idoun, so I have a bias towards FE6, too (even though I only played 5 chapters?).
FE7's plot was more interesting than the other games, IMO. -------------------- |

Formerly: FE1
Recently: FE9 FE9 was just a nice breath of fresh air in comparison to the last couple of games. It was either more challenging or more entertaining, which the GBA games severly lacked in unless you just literally "modeled" the playthroughs. With FE9, I felt you could play on a difficulty, use any unit, and still receive some sort of challenge. I liked FE1, though, mainly because it was the first FE I got into. Though, honestly, it was a sucky game: The same song played for 24/25 of the chapters, majority of the characters had little to no development, and the ones who did weren't even that striking. Still, the game was tons of fun for me to play, and the lack of a weapon triangle and magic defense made battles more challenging, and combat seemed to truly involve more thrill. Enemies don't miss as much as they do in the American games, and you can't blitz through chapters with one unit coming out untouched. -------------------- ![]() |
