i'm trying to make some mugshot but everytime i try to add say a body/neck to the face it covers up the face
 can someone tell me how to find a way around this also note i am new to spriting |

first off, dont save a .jpg ALWAYS save as .png or .gif
second, try pasting the head over the body first, then the hair -------------------- |

It's because your using a black background. When you open up a new file it should start with a white background. Also you have to turn on the transparency.
