FE9 transfers effecting debaet

Do you think it would be better to assume that there was an FE9 playthrough before hand or not? I wouldn't say so as it's not part of the game, but it is a way to make the game easier and has a good chance of occurring in normal play. So i unno, it's debaetable.

The only characters it really makes a difference for are Sothe and possibly Nadved.

But LHM IS FE7, whereas FE9 is NOT FE10.

LM is required to played EM/HM, whereas FE9 is not required to play FE10.

It doesn't even transfer over the same. With LHM your characters coming out on the other end could very well be weaker, whereas the units in FE10 will almost always be stronger, the exceptions being Sothe and Devdan.

I actually don't understand how the transfer is supposed to work, so I'll shut up now.

Nadved's transfer was disproven, and Sothe actually doesn't get much out of it anyway.

Capping HP in FE9 gives a bonus of 5 to the character's base HP in FE10. All other stats get a bonus of 2 if capped.

For example, if Titania capped Skl in FE9, her Skl base in FE10 gets a +2 boost.

Calill will get bonuses based on her own stats as well as Largo's.

Also, A supports turn into Bond supports and weapon levels also get a boost based on the units weapon levels in FE9.

I would say yes, seeing as, well... it exists. Most people who play this game will have already beaten FE9, so having a transfer occur is pretty likely.

At any rate, it doesn't effect all that much, except like... Sothe. But still, I think it's viable for inclusion.

But this is an unfair advantage to units that came from FE9. If all units got it then I wouldn't have a problem, but the ones that don't will be inferior due to the effects of a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT game. Fe9 =/= Fe10

You're acting like it will completely imbalance the game, when in fact, it does... not much.

The point is, it's there. If it's there, it's viable.

On a sidenote, although it doesn't effect characters directly, how does the Mario Kart bonus disk factor into FE7 debating?

I generally ignore it, but because it doesn't make unfair advantages (that I know of) I don't think it's something that really holds weight either way.

If you were only to get Fe10 it would _not_ be there. That's a pretty big point, methinks, seeing as the ONLY game being debated in FE10 debaets IS Fe10.
